The large office of Heights Law Firm would usually be closed this time of night, but at the moment it was the party for the Taylor family, with the head of the house being a corrupt lawyer who so wanted to be mayor soon. He couldn't have made it any easier for Robert and his Merry Men to sneak in with it being a Masquerade party! A tall, lean man walked in with a steel gray suit, and matching tie. He wore a mask concealing his whole face except his mouth, and mischievous eyes. It was even easier to pass through security since his alias "Johnathan Smith" found its way on the guest list (seriously...? They fell for it?). He gave a nod and smile as he was permitted through. The ballroom was made for these occasions at the firm. People wearing nice outfits and lots of money talk and get drunk and have fun. The room was crowded, with waiters in white tuxes walking around handing out champagne and snacks. A band was playing classical music, tables with white cloths on top, and the hardwood dance floor had a few couples dancing their cares away. Robert looked around, sticking out his leg as a waiter walked by, making him trip up a bit, and pouring a couple glasses of champagne on a few guests. "you idiot! How hard is it to walk around handing out measly glasses of wine?" Robert yelled at him in an offended manner. He went up to a gentleman, looking at the damage. "Such a fine suit too! I'm so sorry sir!" He patted him casually on the pocket, but in a quick flash looted his suit pocket for any valuables. His wallet was filled with money. He would obviously leave the wallet in the lost and found when he left, but he would find it a bit lighter than usual. He kept making his way through the crowd. "Remember, Rob. Taylor is your main target." Little John's voice said through his earpiece. While Robert was distracting Taylor and any of his important friends at the party, his crew was a few floors above trying to hack in to the bank accounts of the law firm. "yeah yeah, I know. They won't be able to resist the charm of Mister John Smith." Robert said quietly, smiling and nodding as people walked by. "How is it?" John asked. "The stereotypical fancy pants ball that everyone loves to be at..." Rob muttered, and his train of thought stopped as he saw a very stunning blonde in the crowd. There was no mistake, even with the mask. That was Marian. Her blue eyes shone through the mask, her beautiful figure, the dress! Oh man! He had to talk to her. He grabbed two glasses of champagne, and walked his way over to her. "Excuse me, I don't suppose you've seen a woman wearing a mask around here do you-- I just realized how stupid that sounded. Its a Masquerade. Looks like I've been stood up..." Robert said in an embarrassing tone, giving a very weak smile. He was about to say something else but then stopped and smiled, then laughed and looked away. "Sorry. It's just... you have really pretty eyes." He offered her a glass and smiled. "I'm John Smith." He said, giving a nod.
