Robert was enjoying this. He could make up any story now! "Ah I don't think i'll find her again. We just talked a bit at the front, and she's probably talking with some other masked man." He said with a shrug. When the woman walked by giving him a look, Robert's dark green eyes shined with entertainment, an eyebrow raised behind his mask. He turned his gaze back to Marian, when she excused herself to eat he laughed and waved it by. "By all means. I know better than to get in between a woman and her food." He said, looking around the room for a second. "Rob, remember your goal..." John chimed in in his earpiece. Marian then asked what he did for a living, Robert took a sip of his drink. "I work for an... organization that deals with funding to charities, you can say." Robert said casually. But he leaned in real close to her to talk quietly. "Although I must say... I can't stand these lawyer types. I hope you don't take offense to it. Its just with my expertise, i have had to deal with all of them. The ones who can't take a joke, the sleezy ones that try to scam you... But the worst ones of all are the overconfident, cocky ones. I'm sure you know those types." He didn't deny he was an asshole while he was a lawyer, and he will play with it. "To be honest this is my first few days back in New York. I've been working in Los Angeles for quite a few weeks, and all this talk and paranoia about this 'Robin Hood' guy. Do they really think he'll make an appearance tonight? He would have to be a mastermind to sneak in here!" "Robin Hood is very far from a mastermind." A voice said, walking towards them. Mister Taylor walked towards Marian, with his son smiling at her. Robert rolled his eyes and looked away for a second. "Found him." Robert muttered. "Alright, we have a problem. There's something we need you to do... Taylor has a vault to lock away his very personal computer. It's activated by some sort of remote. Probably in his pockets..." "I'm on it." He said quietly. Marian, Mister Taylor, and Edward were lost in a conversation. He stood behind the two Taylor's, casually tapping Edward on the shoulder, and moving to the opposite side, brushing up close to him with a smile. "Mister Taylor! and young Mister Taylor. A true pleasure, and congratulations, Sir." Robert reached his hand out to Edward, his swift fingers easily taking off his watch, and putting it in his pocket. Every little bit helps. He then went to the older Mister Taylor, offering his hand. "I'm John Smith. I specialize in helping companies fund to certain charities that will help them in the long run." "Oh yes, yes... I see." "Do you?" Robert asked bluntly. "I'm sure your family has possibly donated some money some time in its very... prosperous climb to the top. As Robert was staring down Mister Taylor, he saw that Edward was trying to walk over to Marian again. He stepped back to get in his way. Robert smiled and waved a waiter to get glasses of champagne for the Taylors. He handed them out, and held up his own. "To the Taylor family. With some luck, they will help shape this city in to a brighter, and better one." He smiled and nodded, and they all took a sip. Robert then placed his empty glass down, and looked at the three of them. "Well, Mister Taylor if you are interested in helping out some charities, give me a call." He pulled out a business card, giving him another handshake, coming in close to whisper in his ear. "I hear the Robin Hood character scares you. Hopefully he doesn't make an appearance on your big night." While he was that close, his free hand slipped in to his pocket, pulling out anything he could. He was sure he found his keys, and he slipped it in to his own pocket. He then turned his attention to Marian, giving a smile. "If you're still around and not hungry anymore, save me a dance." Robert said with a smile, a playfulness in his eyes. He walked away from the three of them, and once he was well in to the crowd, he pulled out all he stole. He grinned a bit as he looked at Edward's watch, a few twenties, and the keys belonging to Mister Taylor. It had a few keys on the chain, but a small little silver box with a button on it. "I think i got it Little John..." Robert said with a smile. "Good, just give it a press, and we'll be good to go to the home stretch." "Not just yet... I'll push it after I have my dance."
