> The semblance is what gets me, really. Increasing the kinetic energy of an object means increasing its velocity, mass or both, while decreasing it means doing the opposite. Decreasing kinetic energy means increasing potential energy simultaneously, but potential energy is only gained by either mgy (mass times gravity time distance above the ground) or 1/2k * x squared (half the spring constant times the distance compression squared). Now I don't want to come off as a stickler for accuracy in a fantasy RP, but I don't think we can rewrite how physics work. I'd recommend changing your semblance so it can either change the weight of objects (mass), change the speed at which things move (velocity) or infuse objects with explosive energy. If you are going to complain about physics, then what about the wind barrier and chill factor of the air every time Ruby moves at super-speed? Or any of the hundreds of times that physics have been put aside for awesome, i.e: food fight. If the source material has realism, then I understand a realistic Rp, but if they are shown time and again to not really give a dam, then why give a dam?
