1. Its painful till the infection reaches your brain. Then you become a zombie and your basically brain dead.

2.  Nothing has been found to cure the infection as it spreads to rapidly to the brain. Heat can slow it but it still spreads once inside the body. 

3. We will all be inside a city but it wouldn't be a military controlled one. yes we all may meet up.
