Haiden was shocked by Sal's anger, backing up when she smashed the boy into the ground. But what terrified him wasn't the fact that her eyes had turned a crazy shade of red, or that she seemed to become a human smoke stack. No, it was the intense rage he could feel coming off her in waves, like she was an erupting volcano. When she seemed like she was about to smash the other guys head in, Haiden burst into action. He dumped the contents of his bucket on top of Sal's head, then proceeded to slam the bucket over it. He then dragged the boy off the ground and out of the way, before turning to Sal again, his mind filled with a flurry of emotions. Fear, disbelief, denial, sorrow, grief, and strangely, righteous anger. No matter what he had done to Sal, it didn't mean she could straight up try to murder someone. As this anger filled him, his eye began to take a soft glow, and the sunlight around him seemed to get noticably brighter. "What the fuck is wrong with you Sal, you can't smash a guy's head in just because he pissed you off. You have no control over yourself and your acting like a child, I should know since I act like one all the time. So are you going to grow up, or are you going to continue throwing this little temper tantrum." As Haiden spoke, his voice deepened, and seemed to carry a tone of authority that had not been present before, reverberating through the air like he was a reverand giving a rather passionaye sermon.
