The walk was nice, and she was surprisingly warm thanks to his jacket. Isn’t is funny how some people are so self-absorbed that they can’t see that people need help; but others go out of way to help those in need. Robin noticed she was in need of a jacket and gave her one while her own ‘walking home’ buddy ignored her obvious signs of discomfort and would have rather let her shake then to help keep her warm. Unlike someone who claimed to have feelings for her. Maybe he did but he didn’t know how to show it… but, as much as Marian would love to attempt to give him the benefit of the doubt, the side he was showing her was something she did not enjoy. It’s funny that the most gentlemanly gesture she had received in a while was from a man that her father was desperately hunting for. His statement of wanting to finish their dance too just made her grin up at him. Beaming in a moment of excitement at it! It’s not every often you get a chance to impress someone like Robin Hood but here she was, impressing him and making him wish that they could have finished the dance. When he mentioned that he wasn’t going to rob her she nodded, turning her attention forward as they continued to walk. “We’re not all bad people sir. And I’m glad you’re recognizing that.” She said simply with a small nod. The arrived to her door too soon for her liking but she stuck her key in and unlatched it to go into her large apartment flat. Turning around, she leaned against the door and listened to him ask her if she had any questions for him. Of course she did! She had a million questions but she had something more important on her mind. “I have an idea that might give you a little break from my dad. It would require showing a side of you most people don’t see…” She bit her bottom lip a tiny bit before letting it go. “I think you should mail the watch to my father’s office at the police department. With a note attached saying that you understand how precious family treasures can be. Edward got that watch from his grandfather. His grandfather skipped over his father on his death bed to make sure his grandson had something to remember him by. It was a horrible loss and something that really hurt him. And still hurts him to this day.” A shrug lifted and fell her small shoulders as whistles were heard coming. “Thank you for the jacket Robin Hood. But please consider that.” She gave him a gentle smile and as she opened her door to step inside she turned to him. “Maybe I’ll see you around?” With that and a wink she walked inside and shut the door.
