Eh, I dunno. I'm still deciding on whether it would be more subservise to people's expectations (and fun) to have Dave actually stick to his guns or to have a change of heart.

Though the latter feels like it'd probably end up as "AND SUDDENLY, FEELINGS" but I dunno, we'll see. Not even I know where this is going! Gotta love not planning for these things, it makes it so much more fun to write!
