Some used these infinitesimally small machines to help maintain their biological bodies, while others used constructs of these Nano-elements known collectively as "Dust" as virtual bodies once they uploaded themselves. The Dust was sufficiently technological advanced to self-replicate itself and self-assemble. While individual motes of Dust had very limited computing power, the ability to "talk" and network was built in. As a result, "clouds" of Dust could from extremely sophisticated systems that can run entire planets. Two versions of the dust the first is manipulating the physical world: Improving building and transportation systems, attacking crop diseases, cleaning and sterilizing living spaces, etc. the other was to Dust to aid in communication and transport. It was refined to provide virtual bodies, pass electronic signals, collect and store energy, etc. Repeated Word But after the fall of the Endless civilization, much knowledge on who to use the dust was lost. 
It was found that some people can become infected by the dust allowing them to gain supernatural powers. [/hider] Mizn is a Dust infected he manipulate the dust allowing him to create barriers, enhance strength. Hostile dust swam, decoys, and he can create some weapons mostly blades. However, the same power runs his body, he can't use too much or it will kill him. Normal this wouldn't be an issue as he could absorb Dust from the environment but due to the lack of Dust in this current world he can't due get any from the environment. His robotic body makes him stronger than humans and allows him to take a greater amount of damage than an organic body.
