Once the meat had been devoured, Carina sat on her hind legs and stared up at the woman. She honestly did want to know her name, but Kaln never told her. She'd have to sn-No... She needed to stay for a few nights so the woman wouldn't get suspicious. It irritated her, but it was a logical conclusion. The woman was touching something on her chest, her hand covering it up as she spoke about jewelry. How does a woman not have jewelry? What does this woman do for a living? Nothing? Still, she watched as the hand fell and her eyes went wide at the pendant before her. It was hard to see, but she couldn't make out the details well enough to say if it looked like what Kaln had told her or not. It was so tiny, she couldn't see much of anything. Carina sighed and rolled her eyes before sauntering into the living room, ignoring the woman for now. She looked to make sure the woman was still in the kitchen before she hoped up on the couch and touched the remote with her nose. In a flash, the TV clicked on and people appeared before her. This was definitely much better, though she'd never admit it to Kaln. Even if she had to sleep on this couch, it was better than the old barn she'd been in before. Carina slowly laid her head down on her paws and stared intently at the screen, huffing every second as small chuckles escaped her muzzle.
