Scarlett lounged back in her chair, her feet resting up on the dull table in front of her. They could have at least supplied her with a decent looking room instead of trying to replicate the facilities at Guantanamo. Yawning a little, she eyed herself in the oh-so-real mirror - her bright violet hair shone with volume and overall, she wasn't looking too bad considering she had just emerged from a fight with a particularly powerful meta. She assumed everyone behind the mirror must have had some of Bloodrune's blood on them because she could feel nothing, really. Sighing in pure boredom, she looked around with a quirked eyebrow, attempting to discover something that would at least relieve her boredom. Sighing again, she realised that their plan was probably to have her wither away out of boredom until she gave up some information in return for something to do. Of course, she always had her dreams. Slipping down further in her seat, she rested her head against the back of it before closing her eyes and letting her dreams drag her in. As usual, she was taken back to that hill just past her house. Her father once told her that when her mother was pregnant, she would go up on the hill and just lie for hours, thinking about the life she never had, with the daughter that she never lived to see. Strangely enough, she never dreamt of being with her mother - she only ever dreamt of the old memories of her father and her, paying some respects. She continued dreaming for a little while before it was so rudely interrupted by the least likely person she could have met at the Stucorp building - Elijah Craigh. Was this her torture? Were they just going to find as much of her exes as possible? Sighing softly, she kept her eyes closed and made sure it looked like she was still sleeping as he moved closer. It was sad, yes, but she couldn't handle a relationship with him at the time - he was sweet but there was a darker side to Elijah that scared her, much like her father. His little riddle just made her feel guilty, she did practically break his heart after all. Sighing softly, she opened her eyes, staring at the man she once thought she would share a life with. "Sweet but you left out the arguments, rows and the whole love-hate thing." She said a little dryly - why was he here now? Why couldn't he just let her rot. "What are you doing here, Elijah? Last time I checked, you blew up the LAPD with some hot blond." She knew it was Ruby who did that but he didn't know she was close to Ruby.
