In response to both of you. Yes you can make a founder and not have to recruit people or already have children however, here's the thing. You need to have some form of relationship with at least 1-2 other characters that are not your own (if you want multiple characters that is). This is for the same reason that I have the clan rule. I don't want anyone getting behind because we have a bunch of lone clan members running around.

As much as I wish it was possible for everyone to have their own individual clan without having other people in them and the RP run just fine, it isn't. At least not in the time period that we're starting in (warring clans era/right as that starts) so people need to either know eachother and be able to easily interact, or "recruit" people into their clan so that there is more than just one person.

I will be allowing very few loners, and only in particular circumstances where it makes senses and they'll be able to interact with other groups easily.

I hope that's not too restrictive. Additionally, while it ought to take us some time since rushing the story would be suckish, we'll eventually found the villages (be they the same ones we know and love, or new ones that we make ourselves is up to everyone), which will allow people to each have just one person in a clan because you'll all be in a village and thus allied.

I hope that's reasonable enough ^_^
