Uuuuhh...this proposed canal is A). Highly unlikely to be cost-effective. It would be longer than the longest irl canal.
B) Suez took 10 years and it had no locks. The Karakum canal, shorter than the proposed, took 30 years. This is going to take a reaaaaaaaaaaaly long time.
