Earth. Our home. Home to the human race as we know it. For centuries we all thought that we were the master superiors of our planet and that we alone will master the Universe. However... mother nature gave us a chilling reminder. On that day, in 1954, the human race remembered: the terror of being dominated... BY THEM. There has been many legends about these giant monsters that people now-a-days call kaiju in the ancient past. We all thought that they were just myths... legends... fantasy. Yet we were proven WRONG. On a chilly Nov. 3rd, human kind had experienced the first confirmed recording of a kaiju attack on a city. The massive kaiju laid waste to the city of Tokyo, leaving nothing but smoldering shatters and ash. We called this kaiju... GOJIRA. Gojira, or Godzilla, was the first confirmed Kaiju ever recorded in (recent) history. He was then supposably killed by the weapon known as The Oxygen Destroyer, as his disintegrating body was then left as an empty Skeleton. It seemed as if we had won our first and only victory against these malevolents. That also proved to be WRONG. DEAD WRONG. After the supposed death of Gojira, other kaiju had then been spotted around the globe. Many had just awakened from deep beneath the Earth... some had came from the emptiness of Space... and some had been created by the real monsters that we are. The Age of Kaiju had just begun! Our survival of our race seemed to be slimmer and slimmer by the years, as kaiju destroyed city after city... forcing us to rebuild them over and over again. However, some kaiju were not exactly evil. Some had in fact teamed up to save our planet from desolate aliens who try to conquer our blue planet. We all felt grateful to them... but now was the time that we finally strike back! In just a few years, with massive funding by the government and the general public as a whole, the Global Defense Force (GDF) was born! With state-of-the-art technology, we were able to create giant, mechanical, mechas that would help us defend and fight against kaiju that threaten to harm us. As years pass, the GDF had branched into several sister-groups ranging from the JSDF (Japanese Self Defense Force), the Jaeger Federation Force, NERV, and other groups that made their own mechanical war-machines. Now it is the year 2015 A.D and you had been thrown into the fray! It's time for you to choose your side... No Godmodding. This implies to using unrealistic scenarios to make your character invincible or unable to be attacked, damaged, etc. Even if your character is more powerful then another, please, play fair for others. 2). Do not kill anyone's character unless they are OK with it. I recommend you PM the person if you want to kill one of their characters. 3). No meta-gaming: Metagaming often refers to having a character act on knowledge that only the player has access to (such as tricking a Medusa to stare at a mirror when the character has never even heard of Medusa and should not be aware of her petrifying stare) 4). Do not Auto-Hit. Auto-hitting is when someone attacks another role-player without giving the other player a say in what happens. (Example: *Cuts off head* Instead of *He attempts to swing his sword at your neck* (look back at Rule 1)) 5). ENJOY! (Those who will not follow the rules will be reported!) I will also allow OC characters into the role-play!
