Phoebe looked up, before realising that he was actually asking how things were, if there was anything new or what not. She smiled and said "a few things. Um." And her she squirmed slightly. Yes, she was an adult. Yes, she was happy. But she hadn't told either of her parents, although no doubt her father knew. And maybe telling Nicholas would be a good bond. "Um. Well. Ryan asked me to marry him" she unconsciously twirled the ring on her finger.
