I'm at work right now so I can't really get into anything lengthy. I'll respond tonight when I get home. Also, can we spend some time figuring out everyone's relationship to each other? Kasumi mentions that she knows all of the other characters so I thought it would be a good idea to get some basic information that our characters would know about each other.

Edit: Also, would it be alright if the ship was chartered by Kazue? She seems like the only character that could afford to hire a ship and crew just for them. I'll go ahead and put it in the post since I can always just edit later.
