Interested but I have a question

1.I want to be a guardsmen, but if we are not fighting what's the highest rank you would allow a player to be? I kinda want to involved in initial negotiations (I don't want to be a lord solar or anything, but a regiment commander could be nice, I'll play no matter what just want to know)

2.do you want us to post a character here?
