She hates being told she's not doing something right as she just figuring out how to do it, but will obstinately continue to learn something until she reaches what she feels is an acceptable goal. She hates being looked down on just because she's so much younger than her sister. She's also one to hold grudges should you piss her off. All that being said, she is not a classy princess. She's lived in Farthing all of her teenaged years so it's been the most impressionable on her. Role/Title: She is the princess of Waylox. Rhysln isn't quite sure what she's going to do with her as she hasn't really bothered to pay attention during any weapons training and barely knows how to use a sword much less anything else. Or so she thinks. Following her nature, Nautica took upon herself to learn how to wield something. Swords frightened her at the idea that she could actually hurt herself if she wielded it improperly. So instead, she leaned how to use something that could keep her back from the blades but allow her to be useful. She knows how to use a bow and arrow. History: Nautica was 12 when her sister took the throne. She still had a simple understanding world and so when she saw Ovorion, the first thing that came to mind was "He's a bad man." She tried to tell Rhysln, but her sister told her that she didn't have a choice. She had to go meet the bad man away from the safety their home else the little trust she had earned from the people would go away. She knew how hard her sister had worked to that gain that trust and how badly she wanted to make things better for her people, so she stopped trying to talk her out of it. She stood by the door the next day and watched her leave. And she stayed there until the attack came, kicking and screaming any time anyone tried to move her from that spot. She even pitched a fit with the captain when he picked her up over his shoulder, but he snapped at her to be quiet so he could get her out of there alive. She didn't fight him after that. She got on the horse with him and they met up with Rhysln and the knights, riding as far from the city as they could get. Being outnumbered didn't do much for them in that case. Within the first couple of months within the realms of Farthing Village, she saw her sister begin to train so that she might take back their home. At 12 and 13, Nautica was wanting to try everything there was to try, but Rhysln chastised her for being troublesome and not taking it seriously. So Nautica picked one. She didn't like the idea of swords and most natives of Waylox didn't use magic. She also had no skill for being quiet so that eliminated anything that required that. Instead, she picked up the bow and arrow. Due to her nature of hating to be told that she's messing up while she's learning, she only attended a few formal sessions to really get the basics. The rest she figured out on her own. She would sneak out while Rhysln and the knights were busy doing their thing- she apparently wasn't old enough to listen for awhile- and she went and practiced on her own. It was hard. She messed up a lot, but she was determined to be thought of as useful to her sister. Plus she wanted to sink one right between the "bad man"'s eyes. And that was how she got to perfecting her skill. She imagined she was getting that shot, the chance to take down the man that ruined everything her parents and sister had worked hard to establish. He pit the country back in to a dark age it hadn't seen in three generations, crumbled the foundations of peace that they had slaved to make. She made her first bulls-eye when her mind was focused on that. And she nearly broke the bow because she was overwhelmed with the urge to punch something. When Rhysln decided, finally, that they were going to take back the throne, Nautica started practicing even harder. Staying up late at night if she couldn't get out till everyone went to bed, and then getting chastised by her sister for being lazy. She doesn't want to admit to practicing until she gets it as close to perfect as possible, but she gets very tempted on those mornings. She's more than eager to get back to the castle and give that bastard Ovorion what he deserves. Anything extra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djgCiV4jJUE
