As soon as Winnifred's second shot had landed a direct hit, she looked over briefly to assess the full situation, only to realize Haruka had made a swift change of course to target the newcomer just like Rian had a moment ago, even though the cockatrice was still up and moving about despite its injuries. "Wha - hey, hey, hey!" Winnifred shouted, then gestured towards the cockatrice and added, "This thing's only [i]mostly[/i] dead, you know! Can't you save that for after?!"

She then quickly turned her attention back to the cockatrice, letting out a deep breath to regain her focus. She held up her gun, taking aim for a third time.
