She is a mage with a focus on utility rather then offense.[/s] Which leads me to a few questions, how does magic work? Sheer force of will, through a focus, incantations and arm movements, magic circles, any combination there of or do we each do our own thing? And how does one learn magic? Is it trial and error, tomes and lore, or simple willpower and finesse?
