The simple fix to that issue is just to continue posting the same way that you do now. If I wish to use multiple characters in one post

In that case, they could just set their actual account as default, and continue whatever system they currently have in place; it's like the dice program that Mahz wishes to implement. You don't have to use it, but it's there.
