Sorry for the double post- I over looked this. I deliberately kept this somewhat vague to see what folks come up with. I would say...do whatever you want with it, and we'll retcon in reasons for the differences btwn the Semi-Sentiences in the different ships. My original idea was for the ship be have a sort've low grade, animal like consciousness...that the individual ships are kindve alive, huge beasts of prey, and that captains and officers can tap into and tame this as they integrate with their ships. So like big dogs...in space, with guns and targeting reticules and stuff... But that's just what my idea was, no need to stick to it.'
