Hey guys, I am currently working on my own setting.  It's been 2 years in the making, but it's never been quite materialized.  I have a setting, story, events, and characters, but I'd like to include [i]other [/i]additions as well.

Right now we have only a few locations (Friesland, Asgeir. Icelands, Darkwald, Eastmarch) and the only real races and characters are human (however, this [i]is [/i]a fantasy world and I would like to include other races too).

The Varan are a race of men living in the northern realm of Asgeir.  I drew inspiration from the Norse, Germanic, Celtic, Irish, and Welsh people during the antiquity/middle ages.  Once hunter-gatherers, they evolved into barbarians with a strict warrior-ethos ('only the strong survive' type of ideal).  Eventually these barbarian tribesmen were invaded by foreign nations and beaten back into central and northern Asgeir.  Then came the Age of Heroes: when individuals like Tarro and Lyza Valgard, and Joric, rose up, united the Varan, and then retaliated - driving the invaders out of Asgeir and pushing outward to expand their borders.  They then remained united and proclaimed their own kingdom, but suffered a major civil war, which finally ended.

The biggest characters of this roleplay are the Valgard's - Toric, Valius, Lily, Tarro, Lily, Volrun, Aea, etc - members of a renowned clan in Asgeir with unmatched skills.  There's more to it though, like the Icelord Varyx, the Iceni in the Icelands, the Keepers of the North, the Jorian Riders, the Stomrguard... and that's just Asgeir. Eastmarch is a medieval kingdom home to the Knights of Eastmarch.  A friend is working on one of Asgeir's neighbors: Friesland.
