Derek listened intently to what she said. He would agree to keep calling her Krista, but he still wanted to know her real name out of curiosity. He wouldn't pry it out of her. He didn't like that she had to remember her past because of his arrogance. But right when she had told him about the sunlight, he knew it was no mere coincidence. He balled up his fist and punched the wooden table he sat on. "Son of a bitch!" he exclaimed, jumping off the table. He shrugged off his jacket, feeling heat of his body entrap the faux fur on the inside. He placed it around Jennifer's shoulders. "After school, I need you to trust me more than anything. I know that I promised to leave you alone, but there is nothing you can do to stay safe. This man is dangerous. He is not like the average serial killer and I can't explain it to you because he probably knows you are here right now. He is probably watching you right now. He probably watched you for weeks, if not months, before he proved to you that he knew where you were. There is almost no sunlight in this area during winter. This is the perfect hunting ground," he said, straightening the jacket on her shoulders. He took in a deep breath. He knew that she understood the severity of her predicament, but not the severity of a vampire.

Jennifer jumped when she heard him exclaim "Son of a bitch!", she gently wrapped her arms over herself as she felt the warmth from his body heat when her wore it. She looked up into his eyes as he told her to trust him after school, he either had something to do with the serial killer making her even more suspicious of him. "There is no way he would know where I am now, I just moved her two weeks ago. And way before that the agents assigned to my case informed local law enforcement. And ontop of that my parents put security cameras around the house so I am safe I also have the marshals on my phone." "Do you know who he is or something? because you know an awful lot about these murders." Jennifer said as she walked over towards the wall. She had a feeling that he was hiding something fro her. "If there is anything that you know about him, I really need to know."

Derek was caught off guard. He wasn't expecting to be asked that, but he realized that with the way his constant blabbering was going, she was bound to ask at any minute. He tried to debate quickly on the pros and cons of telling her the truth about this man. The pros would be emotionally lifting for her, but the cons could cost her life. If she knew who or what he truly was, then he would see no point in keeping her around to play with. It was never fun for a vampire to be caught on what he/she was. "I don't know him personally. I just know of him. Same as you and anyone else who knows about your predicament. And although you moved here two weeks ago, he probably arrived the next day, stalking you out," he said. Bloody vampires

Jennifer started to get terrified as he said he probably has been stalking her since she had moved here, and knowing what he did to the girl she got close to and died at his hands she realized that her mother was home alone while her father was out searching for a job. "Then I have to go home then now.." Jennifer said as she tried to figure out what Derek was telling her, it was either a really sick joke he was pulling on her or he was telling the truth. "I have to move again." She quickly turned around towards the door that was near the cafeteria connecting the patio area to the inside of the building still holding the coat Derek had given her to make a run for her locker and leave the school grounds to head straight home.

Derek followed her. "I can take you home. Trust me on this. Wherever you move, he will find you. You honestly picked the best place to move. You have forces here that will protect you and your family. I can't tell you everything. At least not now, but trust me on this. I know it's hard to place trust so easily like that, but you need to find some courage for it," he said. Derek knew that she was frightened and knew that what he was telling her was what he thought to be accurate. He could feel the dark aura that surrounded her. That vampire was probably within watching distance of this girl right now. But what would the vampire do after seeing her with a werewolf? Vampires had no trouble distinguishing a mundane humane from a werewolf. The scent of werewolf blood runs deep in his veins. His Romanian blood was too distinguishable from that of a normal werewolf. Maybe it would be enough to get the vampire to leave her alone.

Jennifer made it back to her locker, hearing what Derek was saying, she still didn't know why he knew a lot about her killer or why it was a good thing that she had moved to this town she quickly got her jacket not even bothering to grab any of her school supplies. "I need to know everything, I have been honest with you so far and answered your questions." Jennifer said as she quickly closed her locker, she turned around to face Derek once more. "Why is it a good thing that I have moved to this town, what makes it so special about it here then in a city with my killer chasing after me?" She didn't care that she was missing class now she would come up with an excuse later once she got home to see if her mother was alright.
