It stripped Lightning's emotions in which it took her the first entire game to develop because God said so. And it was the first time God was mentioned in three games.

I haven't finished it yet so I won't judge that one rely. Just the start of it and minor concepts. Like the changing clothes thing, being on a time limit, and only having Lightning as a playable character. But it does seem to be somewhat interesting.

But FF10-2? I despise that game. 

Ff13-2 was better then that game but I didn't really care for your two main characters.

Edit: though I did enjoy collecting Chocobos...
