1. Tell me how you found it and what you know. Like the last guy, I'm not going to allow you to know everything about reapers. 2. Depending on votes they will either stay or we go with the idea you came up with. 3. Thanks for the approval of the dice roll. This list may not be in order so play some "match this"

The Kimo found a copy of liara's warnings (now known to them as 'the shepard') when they discovered a Turian military vessel on a world they intended to settle. Like it says in my nation sheet, those Turians survived the war and tried and failed to carve out a new existence somewhere. The discovery heralded a golden age for the Kimo but it also brought with them the warning of the reapers. Information from the Turian ship's databanks revealed what had happened to them, including a complete record of the Reaper war as experienced by the people onboard. They also found a copy of Liara's warning through which The Kimo learned of commander Shepard and his/her deeds up until the point where Liara made them. (Which was just before the battle of earth. And given that very few ships and even fewer ground troops made it back from that battle, the Turians onboard the ship they found had little knowledge of what exactly transpired there.) They also learned of the crucible and how to build it but given that liara had no idea what exactly it is or what it does, neither do the Kimo and like I said, actually building the thing would require too many resources and that is not something the Kimo government will put any effort into when they don't know what the thing will even do. They know that the citadel is the 'catalyst' and that it is a massive station that used to be the seat of all galactic government as well as a backdoor for the reapers (they know shepard's story afterall) but given that the reapers moved the thing to earth and god knows where else after that, they have no idea where to find it, nor do they have the intention of going to look for it since that might expose them to whatever else lurks in the darkness of space. In short, the Kimo know everything Liara did prior to leaving for earth as well as what the Turians knew. they know about indoctrination, the existing reaper variants, husks, etc. They have alot of knowledge (but that doesn't mean that the reapers couldn't have come up with a few new tricks in the many centuries/millenia since the last cycle, *hint hint* ;p) Also, and this is kind of a big thing. If this rp follows mass effect 2-3 logic the cycle comes every 50.000 years in which case the Kimo know when the reapers will come but if it follows Mass effect 1 logic, the reapers will come whenever they deem gamactic civilisation advanced enough to be harvested, in which case the Kimo's guess is as good as anyone's. (if you ask me, mass effect 1 logic is the better one since I believe that the 50.000 years limit is kind of dumb because there are absolutely no guarantees that sentient lifeforms will grow to the desired level somewhere in the galaxy within that arbitrary timeframe. It's also alot more interesting because it leaves everyone in the dark as to when the reapers arrive.)

Drahss found a copy of Liara's Black Box some time after they autonomously discovered the mass effect field and how to use it. In the exploration of their cluster they organized a constant and maniacal race to colonization, overlooking easily their own ancestral holdings. After some time then, during a periodic geological & biological survey of their homeworld's highly active moon Ladae, they catched unusual interferences coming from the 'dark side' of the moon'. Their finding was incredible. Wrapped inside a prothean research facility ruins, spurted somehow from the ground, there was one of Liara's box. The dusty storm that would have caused such thing was to be avoided, since at that time the Federacy was still young, and its members unsettled over the colonial rights. In the end it was all locked down and studied; its discoveries kept secret, and released gradually as proofs of Drahss technological advancement. However, those who were fully aware of the content of those artifact, decided they had to make themselves ready for the dark days to come, somehow. As I said before, Liara's Black Box works exactly like any other known VI, containing all data of ME3 period and advancement. Unfortunately, this was one of the earliest copies, so Drahss don't know that the Citadel is the the Catalyst itself.

Hmm, one more thing. You said in a previous post that all the races would be in the same sector of the galaxy so that they would come into contact with one another. That's actually not nescessary at all given that the mass relay network stretches across the entire galaxy and allows for almost instant travel from one end of the milky way to the other. (the quarian home system for instance is almost on the opposite side of the galaxy from council space yet they were in contact) It is true the galaxy is vast but the network, while large, is alot more limited. I have no fear we'd not run into eachother.

At some point in the Nur'xal's history, they were visited by the 'Scaleless Ones' (Pretty much some of the races from the prior cycle... expect Krogon) who enlightened several Nur'xal tribes about the 'Void Gods' (Reapers) and the threat they posed. They didn't have one of Liara's Black Boxes but they had put together something that gave a fairly decent idea of what the Reapers did (Using the Mass Effect to trick races into follow a path that they can easily reap, the corrupting nature of Reapers and their technology, Husks, ect.) and the fact that they were waiting somewhere in the blackness of the void, prepared to wait for the chance to strike. While the original tribes that learned this would be wiped out during the 200 year long First Crusade, they left enough behind for the victors to acknowledge the threat and figure out a way to prepare for it. The arrival of the Void Gods is considered to be Nur'xal version of Ragnarok; The battle to end all battles that will either reshape their way of life or end it outright if they are too weak to win.

Name of civilization: The Interstellar Covenant of Harrasann Race: Harrasann Description of race: The Harrasann are oxygen breathing, arthropod quadrupeds with a pair of lungs as well as a secondary, less developed, set of gills. The tallest of Harrasann stand at about five feet tall and the shortest as low as two and a half feet. Females have been known to be up too twice as tall as this though, dwarfing their male compatriots. Normally they are as broad as they are wide, though their bodies can be up too eight feet long. Their legs are spiderlike in look however they have a tough exoskeleton, much like a crabs, and are slightly thicker comparatively to a spider's legs. These legs allow the Harrasann to be naturally expert climbers however it also limits their ability to jump at all. The Harrasann's bodies are normally split into two bodies. The first, and largest, body is where most of the organs are located and where the legs attach. It is triangular in shape and lain out almost as a 'hull'. It is made up of bands of exoskeleton, or chitin, that create a very strong natural barrier. Similar to the body of a lobster however without the tail. The second body makes up almost half of the Harrasann's height and is at the front of the first body. This is a raised up body, a thorax, two arms and head, however apart from the brain it contains few organs. The skin of this second body is not an exoskeleton but more a leathery skin, much like an elephant or rhino's, that is pigmented the same colour as the rest of the body. The Harrasann have no hair and their skin in this second body produces a slightly waxy or oily liquid that covers their body. Their face has four eyes, two set quite wide on the side of the head and then another two set at the same height in the front centre. Their mouths are set just below their eyes and are circular with 2 sets of serrated teeth inside, they also have a small set of mandibles around the mouth that are slowly disappearing, thanks to evolution, due to the lack of need for them anymore. The Harrasann's pigment depends on the nest they were from, it can range from a pitch black all the way to a shiny yellow. Though due to across breeding there is also a number of 'Nestless' Harrasann who have a mixture of a number of colours. Finally there are certain organs in the Harrasann males that mean that they are incbable of any sort of Biotic ability, though they are slightly more resistant to things such as pull. The females however lack such an organ and in fact pride themselves greatly on their ability to use basic biotic abilities. Average lifespan of race: The males live up until the age of thirty. Around then they eventually die from their heart's automatically giving out. Woman live up until two hundred though there have been documented cases of them living longer, also woman are far less common. Government of race: Over all it could be described as a Matriarchal Elective Monarchy. Military description: Arms; The Harrisann employ the use of 'fake' energy weapons. The average Harrasann drone carries a Power Cell Assault Rifle, this magnetically flings clusters of superconducting toroids. These donut-shaped projectiles are designed to shatter upon impact, arcing electricity between the fragments and flash-converting them to plasma. The gun's punishing, automatic blasts impact with the heat of a cutting torch. On the back of a Drone's second body they also carry a personal mortar, designed to hurl explosives much further than any natural throw could. The Harrasann also replace the personal mortar and assault rifle with an anti-air battery for certain Drones. Allowing squads to deal with air combatants. Finally every squad normally has one or two drones armed with Buzz Saw Power Cell Machine Guns, of similar design to the Power Cell Assault Rifle, the machine gun is larger and forgoes the personal mortar. In exchange the Drone has a back filled with ammunition and servos that reload the powerful machine gun. Whilst cumbersome, being attached to the middle of the thorax, it allows the Harrasann in question to essentially set themselves up as a organic turret that has the capability of suppressing and destroying large groups of opponents for entire battles as the servos take care of loading. Harrasann ships employ a lot of point to point laser batteries that are very effective at destroying small, fast moving craft. Larger crafts are then armed with the stronger Rail Gun design cannons used more effectively against other ships of great size. Fighters of the Harrassan use single mounted point to point lasers and the bombers use Missile tubes. Armour; The Drone's Harness is the average armour of the Harrasann Drone. It is made out of a strong artificial harness that has attached joints that allow for plates of armour and Kinetic Barrier generators to be attached. This is because of the Drone's natural chitin armour making whole suits needless, and more selective and free moving harnesses more effective. The armour also comes with a face harness for any sort of combat in space or on worlds where the atmosphere is uninhabitable. The Warriors Chitin is the armour worn by those Drones that carry a Buzz Saw Power Cell Machine Guns. It is a larger harness designed to allow for more ammo ad servo space on the back whilst the front are enhanced to have thicker armour and more Kinetic barrier generators. This turns the Drones into almost biological tanks. Specialised Units; In general Harrasann are pretty unique. The one unique ship they do have is the Mothership. This was the first ship that the Harrasann ever commissioned and has been retrofitted more times than anybody could count. Right now it has the ability to carry a small planet's worth of Harrasann as well as the appropriate vehicles, being as big as a dwarf planet. Along with this it has the largest collection of point to point Laser Batteries on any ship and has a vast number of Rail Cannons. Finally it also has a single Planetary Cannon mounted to the front. Along with these firearms it also has a number of hangers that can house swarms of fighters and bombers. The largest ship that the Harrassan know of at all. All other ships are dwarfed in comparison and it is often noted by the more cynical of Harrassan that it is 'putting all of one's young in one basket'. Doctrine; The Harrassan use the age old Doctrine of the Sword and Shield, vast numbers of Drones hammer an enemy, raising his guard. And then the heavy fist of the Harrassan swarm over any exposed weaknesses. However when conventional war is not working or a war takes a lot longer than expected then the army adopts a very fluid, decentralised system in which every unit acts autonomously, working towards a single goal whilst remaining in contact with all other units at that time. Important people/Ranks: WIP Religion: None, they have no need for religion and no real understanding of it's purpose. Import: N.A Export: N.A Description of your society and race: The Harrasann evolved from an animalistic hive situation, where a queen of a Hive would birth all of the young, each hive had it's own colour and only one queen. From there the Harrasann used to ravage their planet for food. Since they evolved and developed further sentience the terms and some structure were kept however the mindless obedience has been dropped. At the top there is the 'Queen', a female who has distinguished herself above and beyond all other females and so was voted into power. She has direct authority over everything and everyone however she leaves the day to day running of the different hives to their own hierarchy. Below the Queen are the Hive Mistresses, these are females who have gone above and beyond for their hive and are elected into power the rest of the females in their hive. There are twenty hives across home planet of the Harrasann, Mylai, and each Hive has it's own hierarchy of females to deal with problems with male Harrasann being at the bottom. This is partly for the fact that females live a lot longer and so are normally always more experienced but also because they naturally are more stable than their male counterparts. Most females job's are breeding and running the Hives. They also educate the males, putting those who distinguish themselves forward for further education. A basic education provides the males all the information they need to live whilst apprenticeships are how careers are found, learning on the job, those put forward for further education take on more advanced roles, such as ship captain's and commander's on the ground. This is because there is no time in the male's lives to choose their career and train off the job. They are thrown in as apprentices and then take over the job once their mentor passes away. In regards to commanding officers they take on apprentices as well, after their further education, and mentor them in tactics and management. However most males in commanding positions also take a drug, taken from the females, that removes the natural age barrier that most males have. This allows generals and admirals to live for another twenty or thirty years however it is also very expensive to produce and is restricted for those who have power over vast quantities of Harrasan men. Birthrates are high in the Hives and the Hives themselves ar huge cities built into mounds that house the populace in Nurseries. Industry and agriculture normally takes place on the slopes of the Hives and the Hives themselves are mazes to those who do not know them. The Harrasann are a people who are used to all working as one to further the group. Lives are not as highly valued in other races, though they have more value than a mere tool, and most Harrasann are more than happy to accept a poor lot in life so long as they are needed for the collective. However with every Nest there is always great value placed on 'belonging' a Harrasann with a strong colour is greatly respected, a duller colour less so. And for those who are the offspring of inter Hive breeding, where they are a mixture of pigments, there is nothing. They are considered dirty and belong no where. With such large numbers the Harrasann can afford to lose quite a few. The Nestless normally make their careers in Hive security, due to their lack of allegiance to any Hive they are perfect for an Internal Affair and many a Nestless has deposed despotic leader, much to the ironic amusement of some. Treaties: None, as of yet.
