"The blader twins, Wyatt and Hyatt...together? Girl, that's crazy, never to be canon!" With cheeks are rosy red as, well, roses, Mariko was hopping from one foot to another and fuming slightly at Kyoko, who had not at all ceased to jot down notes for her next up and coming one-shot fanfiction. Adjusting her glasses slightly, she wagged a finger before the younger girl's face, "In the Angry Blades series, every time they spar with their swords and Fuyumi intervenes...it's merely a metaphor for a threesome ruined by the presence of a woman! I mean, seriously, 'crossing swords' at least twice every volume?" With this teasing, she waggled her eyebrows suggestively as Mariko plugged her ears yelling 'no, no, no, no'. On the other side of the doorway, also waited for the clubroom to be unlocked, stood 'Julie'. Eyes cast down onto the cellphone in hand, and the distinct sound of clicking as she pressed button after button, her eyes raised only for a moment as Mariko was paging through her manga volume of Angry Blades, before returning to her cellphone. Finally, just a few characters short of the limit, she submitted her text and put her cellphone away.

"So... He can't see, but it ultra sensitive to the things around him since his other senses are improved..." A young man muttered to himself as he walked down the hallway, a notepad in his hand as he sketched out a character that had been on his mind for some time now. The idea had come to him early one morning when it was especially dark out. He had been thinking about the character for a few days now, and he was going to put him in one of the stories he was working on to be a character that helped the hero and heroine. Yuuto always made sketches of his characters in several poses and outfits before writing them down on paper to make sure that he could truly capture their appearance. While he didn't make manga or comics for people to actually see the characters drawn out, the sketches and drawings were more for himself to use when writing. He had been so focused on his sketch of the character that he had walked past the door to the novelist club room and into the intersection of another hallway. Stopping briefly to look around, he was initially confused as to where he was, as he was sure that he was going the right way, and didn't walk back until he turned around to find Mariko, Kyoko, and Julie waiting at the door. With a nervous laugh, he put the sketchbook away and looked at the three women, letting out a simple "Hi" to them.

The only sound of acknowledgement that came from Julie's mouth was a brief "Uhn." along with a slight nod, before she turned to stare at the door in a rather bored manner. She also seemed to catch sight of another three females coming down the hall. Ah, it was Yumi-senpai and the two Aois...when they got close enough, she nodded slowly at each of them, noting the key to the clubroom in Yumi's hand. Of course, Kyoko's greeting to the only male in the club was much more...handsy. Taking note of the sketchbook, the girl went over to Yuuto set her hand slowly on his shoulders, before massaging them and leaning in to whisper into his ears, "Ah...the things I would do to you if I was a male...!" Leaning away, she now stare more obviously at the sketchbook, "So, did you draw me anything ecchi?" Coughing, loudly, Yumi stepped into the scene looking very awkward. From the flustered Mariko, to the handsy Kyoko...Juri seemed the same as usual. Letting out a sigh, "Don't worry, I'll have the door open in a few...then we can talk about what we've read this week." Aoi Kawaguchi had this (:3) face while watching the others, while Aoi Hamasaki peered over at the rest with sharp eyes, "Sempai, how is Kyoko getting elite level grades, again?"

Yuuto took note of Julie's simple greeting. It was almost the exact same sound that she let out when greeting someone, and he was tempted to record that sounds every time she made it to see if it actually was exactly the same. Feeling the hands of Kyoko on his shoulder, Yuuto became tense, but let out a small sigh once she began to massage his shoulders. He became tense once again when she whispered into his ear, and wished that she didn't do things like that to him. When she stared more obviously at his sketchbook and asked if he drew anything ecchi for her, he moved the sketchbook away from her and shook his head rapidly while he blushed about the subject. "No!" he stated rather loudly. "I didn't draw you anything ecchi for you and your weird yaoi love." He didn't mean it in a mean or harsh way, but he just couldn't understand why she always wanted to be a male to love other men. Hearing Yumi cough, he turned his head over to the elder of the club. He nodded at her and began to take small steps over to the door. "Alright." He answered her as he looked at the two lolis of the club. They were small and cute, and Yuuto usually enjoyed their company.

Drumming a hand on the youth's shoulder, Kyoko leaned up slightly to whisper just above the boy's ear this time to whisper yet again, practically smiling into her words, "The boy doth protest too much, methinks." Giggling, and letting out a stream of hot breath into his ear, she quickly left his side and scooped up a certain tsundere Aoi into her arms. Aoi had a blank expression of confusion to annoyance, but even Kyoko could let out an ordinary exclamation of delight at the smaller teen's cuteness, "Ahhh~! Adorable! Now, imagine us two as boys! I would be the calm, cool, intellectual type...and Aoi here could be the cutest shota boy! And then we'd XXXX and OOOO, while..." Aoi Hamasaki, for the most part, was largely ignoring what Kyoko was saying. Instead, she readed down to hold her skirt down, pointing at the others individually, Take care to watch where you're looking." The other Aoi let out a rather jealous 'awwww', and flailed at Kyoko's back rather uselessly in an apparent attempt to get carried too. In the background of this, Yumi just laughed a bit awkwardly, trying to get the club room's key into it's hole as quickly as she could. As soon as it unlocked and she opened the door for the others, Julie zipped right in past Yumi without so much as a glance away from her cellphone, taking her usual seat in the back.

Yuuto shivered upon feeling Kyoko's hot breath on his ear. For the most part, he didn't mind her. It was only when she did things like that to him that he opposed what she did. He didn't really have any problems with her loving yaoi, but it was only when it involved him that he became defensive about being a straight young man. He smiled slightly as she left him to pick up the Little Mermaid Loli. He thought is was kid of cute until Kyoko began talking about them both being boys, then he tuned them out until Yumi was able to open the door. Yuuti still wondered how Julie was able to be so aware of her surroundings, as well as be completely involved in her stories at the same time. It seemed to be a delicate balance that she had mastered, and Yuuto simply wished that he could be as aware as her when drawing or thinking. As usual, the young man sat in somewhere around the middle. He never really had a set seat, as he switched from meeting to meeting, but they all stayed around the center of the classroom.

Everyone assembled on in and took their seats. While Julie usually sat in the same spot, everyone had a different place. The handsy Kyoko ended up seated between Yumi and the more tomboyish Aoi, as the eldest of the club and either of the loli-type girls were the most tolerable of Kyoko...as well, Kyoko didn't like to sit beside the cellphone toting girl of the same age, who she couldn't tease at all. Mariko was seated beside Yuuto this round, still a bit flustered about her earlier encounter, now flipping through her usual notebook. The notebook seemed to be filled with notes, and the margins filled with doodles. Setting her tote bag onto the ground and leaning it against her chair leg, Yumi looked from fellow student to fellow student, finally taking notice of Yuuto's sketchbook. Thinking for a moment, she clapped her hands together, enthusiastic enough for Julie to take notice and quickly finish up on her cellphone, "We don't have to limit the beginning of club with just talking about what we've read most recently, we can talk about other creative outlets linked to our writing..." It was a bit of an obvious lead in, but Julie never talked much about her recent reads, and Kyoko never stopped talking...

After taking his seat, Yuuto set his sketchbook down on the dest in front of him. He was no longer worried about it being taken and looked through because of where Kyoko chose to sit. He looked next to him and saw Mariko, the most normal person he had ever known. That wasn't by any means a bad thing, but while other people had quirks and things to set them apart from others, she didn't. Aside from her astounding crossover writing, she was a rather blank slate. He didn't mind it, as she was nice company to have around. Yuuto's head quickly spun to look at Yumi as the woman clapped. As she spoke about beginning the meeting other creative outlets, He immediately knew what she was getting at. He sighed and looked around before taking a glance at his sketchbook. "Ah, I guess I could start then." Yuuto spoke, opening the book and flipping to his most recent work. The boy in the sketch he had made wielded a simple sword, nothing truly standing out about it. He had short hair and eyes that lacked pupils, trying to draw attention to the fact that he had no eyesight. There were several poses of the boy in different outfits, and all around the picture were details about him, including height, weight, abilities, and a rather brief biography. "He doesn't have a name yet, but he's a blind swordsman who relies on his other senses to fight. He was never able to see before, and doesn't like it when people pity him."

The little mermaid loli seemed to be thinking for a moment, stroking her chin for a long few moments. Shaking her head a few times, her pigtails bobbing around at the head motion, "A blind master? Isn't that a bit cliche...?" The other Aoi looked close to kicking her friend for saying that, gaping a little incredulously, "A blind character is just a character type...it's not cliche...!" Mariko held a hand up, before clearing her throat a little bit and speaking up, "Ehem, well...people shouldn't always focus on character cliches, more so, character portrayals are much more important!" Kyoko seemed to nod in agreement with this, though also thinking about something else entirely...it's not to hard to imagine what she's thinking. She's got a one track mind. Yumi seemed to nod slowly at the pictures, though, "Wow...your drawing abilities are much better than my own...! Hmmm..." After a moment of thinking, she snapped her fingers, smiled, and pointed, "Alright; question. If your character was part of a comedic duo, would he be the straight man or the funny man?"

Yuuto didn't really want to hear what they thought of his character. It wasn't because he didn't value their opinions or anything of the sort, but because he was afraid to hear how terrible they thought it was. He sighed upon hearing the little mermaid loli speak, and spoke quietly to himself. He isn't really... A master, he's just pretty good.." he was slightly thankful for the other loli voicing her opinion on the character, as well as Mariko, but he was still agitated by the first Aoi's thoughts on his character. He was somewhat happy that Kyoko didn't say anything about the unnamed character, but Yuuto had a good idea on what was going through her one track mind. The young man was thankful for what Yumi had to say. It wasn't about cliches or anything, and he was just fine with that. He gave her question some thought. He tapped his chin as he thought about his character, taking a glance at the notes he left on the sketchbook. "Well actually, he'd be the funny guy. He loves a good laugh, and only really changes gets angry when people comment about his blindness or pity him for it."

Yumi seemed to be thinking a little bit after hearing the answer to her question, before finally voicing, "I wonder, what would be the guy's ideal straight man...? I'm thinking....a stoic archer type?" Kyoko's curled into a cat like smile. "His ideal man isn't straight." The older teen looked like she was about to open her mouth to speak, but instead let out a sigh and had the 'Really? Really?!' incredulous sort of expression on her face. The nymph loli laughed awkwardly, and while the mermaid loli seemed to ignore it all with a deadpan expression. "You walked yourself into that one." As if waking from whatever her usual standby mode was, Julie held out her cellphone in one hand, and pointed at the screen with another. The picture was of her most recent cosplays, dressing up as a maid at some sort of meet up outside of school. It was strange to see, but the members of the class occasionally seen a photo or two of the Julie that wore a different sort of expression. Pink maid outfit...and a smile, hand held up in a peace sign, "Thoughts?"

The young man hummed in thought as he listened to Yumi's next question. He was about to voice his opinion before Kyoko spoke up. Yuuto simply sighed and put the sketchbook away from view. He wished that Kyoko didn't have to say something weird every time somebody said something, but he knew that his wish would not be fulfilled. He could tell that the others didn't really have anything to say on Koyoko's words, and scratched the back of his head as he looked around, the classroom getting quiet. Seeing movement from Julie, Yuuto turned around in his seat to look at her phone. It was a little strange to him to see Julie smiling and in a maid outfit, but he could tell that she enjoyed coslpaying. He had given it some thought before, but always ultimately decided against doing so. With a smile and a nod, he gave her a thumbs up. "It looks really good!" He answered her truthfully.

"Ohhhhh~!" Kawaguchi had gotten out of her seat and was not standing before Julie and her cellphone, making sounds of amazement, Yumi leaned a bit out of her seat for a better look, and Mariko clapped her hands lightly in her own delight. Pausing for a moment, Kawaguchi trust her finger at the cell phone using teen's face, finger an inch away from tapping the taller and older girl on the nose, "More pics!" Pulling her hand, Julie pressed a button or two before holding out her cellphone out to the group, the screen showing a different picture ever ten seconds. The maid uniform pictures switched over to a picture of her in the same costume...except now wearing black cat ears and standing beside another cosplaying girl. A pictures of Julie in shiny foam armour with an equally shiny sword, wearing a stoic expression on her face. A few bikini pics at the beach, with what looked like her relatives...more pictures from last school year, hair slightly shorter... After a handful of minutes, she finally withdrew her cellphone to fiddle around with it again, and Mariko took this as her cue to talk about what she was up to. Holding up a USB flash drive, "I typed up two chapters for my most recent fanfiction project, I was truly surprised that I could crossover the television show and anime so well..."

Yuuto watched the other pictures that appeared on the cell phone. They were all pretty good, even the ones from when she was younger and with slightly shorter hair. He liked the one of her with the armor and the sword the most, though, and began to think back on doing a cosplay some time in the future. When Julie put her phone away, Yuuto sat back in his seat correctly. He looked at the USB drive that Mariko held in her hand. He moved his focus away from the flash drive and over to her as she spoke, nodded after she was done. The young man shook his head at her with a small smile. "I'm not surprised." He said to her. "You've proven that you can cross over anything."

Mariko blushed lightly, unable to hide her happy grin as the rest seemed to agree with Yuuto's statement, "Well, I do try my best...but I have ways to go with the other written pieces." From where she sat, Kyoko held a hand up for attention, a cat-like smile practically on her face, "I still think your talents should be used to make convincing yaoi crossovers! Like that fantasy series crossed with that sci-fi series I like..." As if trying to remember, and then catching on, Mariko's face turned a much more obvious flustered red, "K-Kyoko, you're a straight up devil...with the way their personalities are, and the logical direction the crossover would go..." Mariko sputtered a bit, obviously in disapproval. Kyoko shot her a wink. "Exactly." Obviously trying to shake off her discomfort, Mariko went back to speaking mainly at Yuuto, "I like the way Yuuto and Julie portray their characters best! I haven't been great at drawing, and such great cosplay is so expensive to order or make myself...you're both so great!"

Yuuto knew that Mariko was right. She was absolutely amazing with crossovers, but she still had a long way to go in other aspects of writing. Maybe she could offer commissions, or the be middle-woman in a collaboration fic. People give her characters that they want, original or otherwise, and she could have her way with them, making a masterpiece of a crossover. The young man was going over all of the ideas until Kyoko spoke up again. Yuuto sighed at her one-track mind. Looking back at Mariko, Yuuto glanced at Julie as her name was mentioned, and smiled at the crossover writer. "You're good too, Mariko!" He said as he scratched the back of his head. "My drawings aren't all that good, you know. I still can't compete with Manga artists, who draw all the time to publish so much in such a short time." Yuuto then looked at the two Lolis of the class. "What about you two?" He asked them, wondering what they had been up to recently.

The two girls exchanges looks, before Hamasaki shrugged an offered her latest interests, "I wrote up the outline for a romance fantasy, set in a land where women turn into wolves under the light of day, and are thus kept locked up till night fall...during the week end, but haven't actually gotten started on it yet." Answering rather frankly, she finally looked over at the other. Kawaguchi only giggled, "I drew up a small scene for a horror sci-fi, take a look!" Holding up and open her math text, there was a doodle in red pen of a being who looked suspiciously like a cartoony xenomorph being punched by a gorilla with some sort of brain dome.Though it was decently drawn, for once, there didn't actually seem to be any sort of real story to it. After finishing her little overview of what she recently did, both Aoi seemed to wait on the other expectantly for some thoughts and opinions. Kyoko smiled, but made a dissatisfied sound, "A pity you emphasize women in your romance fantasy." "How so? By making the women a focal point for the majority, it makes the few male characters involved seem that much more important." The mermaid loli fired back, "In fact, I'm surprised that you didn't commend me for planning it as such, but clearly an ace like you is too high up to see what the people of my level do." There seemed to be a tense, heavy moment as both Kyoko and Aoi seemed to stare each other down...before the river nymph loli finally interjected, "...Aoi, you made that up on the spot, didn't you?" "AOI!"

Yuuto wasn't sure about what to say. He had no responce for what Hamasaki had said in reply to what Kyoko had told her about emphasizing the women in the story, only to find out that Hamasaki had maid it on the spot. He was a little confused as well, and remained quiet for a few moments before clearing his throat to get everyone's attention on him. "So, now that we have introductions out of the way for today, what next, Yumi?" He asked the elder of the group, his head tiling just slightly.

Yumi seemed just slightly distressed by the others, and seemed entirely relieved to change topics and gears. Clearing her throat, "W-well, of course we always try to do some sort of education debate, self-study, or practice for this club...but just yesterday, while checking my school email, learned about--"

"Ah...!" Letting out a slight exclamation, Mariko almost sat up, and looked from Yuuto to Yumi...snapping her fingers lightly as if to try and recall what she couldn't remember, "Its the, event...about...?"

Both Aois looked to each other, and Kyoko looked quickly to Julie on the other seat, who gave a shrug. But Yumi finally just continued, "It's a writing contest, I thought it'd be good for all of us to participate in. I know some of you have your own individual writing talents, but it might be a good idea to exercise creativity and submit a piece of writing that's outside of your prefered genre...?"

His eyes stayed focused on Yumi as she cleared her throat, but snapped over to Mariko as she chipped in and attempted to remember some sort of event. Yuuto looked at the others, who also seemed to have no idea what was going on. He didn't regularly use his school Email, so he wasn't aware of any sort of event going on at the school.

Yuuto continued to look at the others in the room until Yumi spoke up again. His brows raised in curiosity, and the young man listened intently as the eldest of the club told them about the writing contest. Yumi had a good point, going out of their comfort zones to get better at writing, but it was a writing contest, and Yuuto believed that they should stick to their own respective genres for the best outcomes. Despite what he was thinking, however, he nodded in agreement.

He nodded along as if he was speaking to the group, but was still thinking in his head what genre to approach. He always liked traditional and sometimes modern fantasy, so that was a good starting point as for what he shouldn't make the focus of his writing about. Maybe he could branch out and try to do something more science fiction? He wasn't sure where to start, but he needed to know when it ended first.

"Yumi," He spoke up, looking at her with a curious expression. "When does the contest end? I think that would help, so we know how much to put into our writings each day."
