Fall, one of Daniel's favorite times or year. The temperature was mild and it meant thee year would soon be winding down. That didn't stop him from completely wasting the morning inside though. His dad was off at work for the day as always and his two younger sisters to school. That just left him and his mom still at home. At least until it was time for him to go to work. Only having two cars between the five of them that meant getting dropped off. Midday was the usual shift change, just before school let out. Their location was on a fairly busy road which meant there was an influx of people right around after school. Having been through the routine many times Daniel got things ready in advance. Once people started showing up it was a race to keep the place clean and getting food out to everyone. On top of that they wanted him to talk to people. See how they were doing, get to know them, build up a good customer relation kind of stuff. It wasn't the most fun part of the job but it had been helping him with his social skills. It also taught him how to act interested in some of the most boring or pointless conversation points points ever. Perhaps more valuable was the knowledge of how to get out of those mind numbing situations. Now that school let out things were going to pick up.
