T’charrl was pretty worried that his mother would blow up on him, especially when he couldn’t say he was willing to go up to ask Vegeta to contact his family. He avoided them, but he did it for a reason they probably wouldn’t be able to understand. Hoping that his mother might just make it quick or at least go easy on him he kept his head low, trying to keep his respect for his mother high. He really hoped she wasn’t going to see his differences as a failure in his quest to cure his illness. Hoping she was going to go easy on him he gave a little nod when she repeated his claims, frowning when she began to question the whys of his actions. He couldn’t help doing that, she had to understand he couldn’t help doing that after he told her; however, he had to try and find the confidence to tell her why he couldn’t do something like that. She had to understand when he told her, but she continued with what was quickly turning into an angry rant. Lowering his head some more he closed his eyes, hoping if she was going to do something to him she will hopefully do it quickly; however, rather than a set of claws coming in contact with his face she instead embraced him in a hug. Freezing for a moment he looked to her before sighing, hesitating a moment before wrapping his arms around her body as if trying to remember how to do it himself. He hadn’t done it in a long time, but he was glad that the next time he could do it was by giving his mother a hug. “I-I’m sorry…I would had, but things happened and…I’m sorry”, he muttered, nuzzling against her, “I brought my friends…a-and I brought gifts! I missed you and Father…” Viral didn’t know what Vegeta was trying to start but it was completely out of character for him. He was expecting him to start asking how he had been getting on and whether he had any reactions lately, but instead he was asking him very general questions that you’d ask your friend. Vegeta wasn’t one for friends beyond the others so this was definitely very strange. Staring at him for a moment he looked away, not entirely sure how to take that kind of talk from Vegeta. “Because I don’t ‘get out and about’ enough? Is this one of the only times I’ll be allowed outside?” he spoke up, narrowing his gaze, “For a smart guy, you certainly don’t word things very clearly…” He certainly did wonder if there was anything underlying in what he was saying or whether this really was just going to be a walk about without it being thought as one of his last outings. It was only Vegeta who knew how long he might have to enjoy freedom like this so there was always going to be that suspicious vibe to this strange social talk Vegeta was pulling off. Finding it difficult to respond from this kind of talk from Vegeta he gave him a glance when he decided to compare the planet to what he was already familiar with. “The only freedom I had on Earth was when you sent me off to guide the idiots to the rest of the Dragonballs. That certainly made it a lot harder to find appreciation for the planet to compare it to this one. If you didn’t catch me, I would had gotten my wish…”
