(Nightrunner's Ben 10 was dropped, mine is replacing it)

“It’s hero time!”

Name:
Benjamin Kirby Tennyson

Alias:
Ben 10

Role:
Young Avenger

Brief Bio:

Ben was born in 2001 to Carl and Sandra Tennyson, a fairly normal couple in a fairly normal town. He lived near his cousins, Gwen and Ken Tennyson, as well as his loveable grandpa Max. He grew up a generally normal kid, completely and utterly the class clown, but still a fairly normal kid.

When the school year ended in 2011, Ben got blindsided by having a summer RV trip with his grandpa and cousin Gwen thrown on him. By ‘blindsided’ it was more ‘repeatedly told but kept forgetting’. Having made plans with his local friends of various shenanigans, Ben tried to plead his way out until he was told either he was going on the trip, or grounded for the whole summer.

Naturally Ben was in a very sour mood as the trip started. Refusing to have any of the fun things Max wanted to do. This infuriated Gwen which all came to a head when the three of them spent a night camping out in the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin in Grandpa Max’s RV lovingly known as ‘The Rustbucket’. Gwen dragged Ben out to the forest where a screaming argument could clearly be heard for miles around. Finally Ben absolutely furious stomped away into the forest as Gwen went in the opposite direction. It took Ben a moment to finally cool off and realize he was completely lost.

In the skies above a sudden massive meteor shower coated the night sky in lights and motion. Gwen and Max tried to hurry up looking for Ben. Ben was in a panic, especially when an asteroid suddenly crash landed right near him. Knocking him off his feet and almost unconscious. When Ben came too, he hurried down into the crater the asteroid made. Finding at the bottom a strange wrist watch looking device. It seemed alien, glowing with some kind of energy that seemed to warm Ben to his core. Suddenly the device wrapped tightly around Ben’s left wrist. Infusing itself with Ben. When Gwen and Max finally found him, the device had turned Ben into a three foot tall alien, who promptly asked how the both of them grew so tall.

Ben found out that night a lot of things that blew his mind. Grandpa Max was former a plumber, something he knew already, but it was actually a secret organization designed to protect Earth from dangerous alien forces. It got even crazier when Gwen even ended up revealing that friends of Grandpa Max were teaching her magic. Finally the topper of it all was the wristwatch looking thing stuck on his arm. Max explained it was an alien device known simply as the Omnitrix. With it, the wearer can turn into any alien species that the wearer has contact with. It was a device that was deemed almost mythical in nature, something that held such power it could save entire species from extinction.

The three tried to continue their summer trip in peace, but quickly found themselves at odds with Vilgax. An alien overlord obsessed with taking the Omnitrix and using it to rule the galaxy. The three of them found themselves at odds with Vilgax repeatedly until finally with help from Max’s old allies in The Plumbers, Vilgax and his men were sent away for good.

Unfortunately for Ben, the real world creeped back into his life when the summer was over and it was back to a normal life. Even still the experience had made him a more mature… to an extent at least… person. However Ben constantly found himself needing over the next few years to use the Omnitrix to help out in various problems that arose. When people asked him about the wristwatch. He’d panic and stammer a bad answer with his lack of skills in lying. Soon some years later people finally pieced the puzzle together that Ben Tennyson happened to be those aliens.

Ben worried about what he would do now that his normal life was completely over, but Grandpa Max had an old friend who owed him a favor. Soon Ben was brought out to New York City where said friend gave him a spot on SHIELD’s newest super hero squad, the Young Avengers.

Abilities:

Ben himself is a fairly healthy young man who is athletic, with backgrounds in baseball, soccer, and golf weirdly enough considering his spaz like behavior. However otherwise he’s just a normal guy. Ben’s biggest ability stem from the Omnitrix, an alien device strapped to his left wrist. With it, Ben can turn into a multitude of various alien creatures. Generally when activated Ben can stay in his alien form for 10 minutes, and have a five minute waiting period. But some aliens allow for more time and others less. Depending on how big they are and Ben’s own energy. If Ben comes into contact with any alien DNA the Omnitrix automatically saves it and stores it for later use. Any alien made with it having the black and green hourglass logo that the Omnitrix has on its chest or other such area. However, the watch can absorb the DNA of Mutants, Inhumans, Martians, Asgardians, Skrulls, Krees, Rannians, Thanagarians, and other species both humanoid and nonhumanoid. While Ben has numerous alien forms to choose from, he does have personal favorites…

Nightrunner said •Brainstorm: Based on the Coluan race from the planet Colu, Brainstorm has incredible intelligence and can interface with electronics by extending quasi-biological cords from his fingertips. In this form, Ben has a green complexion and blonde hair.

•Heatblast: Bases on the species called Pyronite from the star Pyros. The transformation gives him a body composed of localized magma with a 'skin' of dark red charcoal. He gains the ability to toss balls of magma, immunity to heat based attacks, and the ability to shape some of his magma into stones by allowing it to rapidly cool.

•Riot: Composed of an organic sentient slime, Riot is a red form that is capable of reshaping itself for short periods of time. It is based on a species of Symbiotes (exact name unknown) that can attach themselves to hosts and amplify the hosts skills, abilities, and more, but at the cost of making the host become more aggressive. Once he is attached to a host, he can either allow them free will or dominate them

•Warhawk: Absorbed from the Thanagarian male Hawkman, Warhawk is capable of flight through the use of two large wings. He is unfeasibly strong and can fly at astounding speeds. He also has enhanced sight and vision.

•Water Hazard: Water Hazard's planet of origin and species is unknown. But he is a red-shelled alien capable of withstanding brutal blows and using impressive strength along with hydrokinesis and proficiency at swimming.

•Wildfire: Absorbed from the Tamaranian girl Starfire. In this form, Ben's skin tints into a shade of orange. He gains the ability to fly, blast bolts of energy out of his hands and eyes, super-strength, and immunity to many poisons as well as a resistance to energy based attacks.

•Wildmutt: Based on the species Vulpimancer from Vulpin, Wildmutt is an alien with the basic appearance of an orange reptilian canine, except he has a lack of eyes. However, he is capable of using an acute sense of smell and can detect heat signatures, which compensates for his technical blindness.

•XLR8: Based on a Kineceleran, from the planet Kinet. XLR8 is a black alien who can move at extraordinary speeds by 'skating' on the (literal) balls of his feet and a natural ability to manipulate friction. When he is running, a biological visor automatically covers his face. He has claws and a long tail that add to his appearance of an overall black and blue reptile.

•Ditto: The copy of a Splixson from the planet Hathor, Ditto turns Ben into a creature roughly the size of a human toddler. With, a black and white head, white face, along with black shoulders. One of the forms that Ben can use for much longer than others. Ben can with this form duplicate himself almost countless times. Each Ditto form operates independently, regardless of what the others want him to do. Though all will commonly work together for the common goal. They are also more flexible than a human, burrow into soft enough ground and out like a mole, and breathe underwater.

•Metacopy: During a visit to the Xavier School for the Gifted, when Ben ‘accidently’ bumped up against X-Men member Rouge. His Omnitrix stored her Homo Superior genetics into the machine. When activated Ben looks completely the same, only with black hair and a streak of white in the front middle of it. With it, having any physical contact with a mutant allows him to have the same mutant power. This doesn’t work quite like the aliens in that when the time’s up, he loses the mutant power he gained altogether, and can only have one or two at a time before they start getting haywire on him.

•Way Big: Of all of the alien forms Ben has in his arsenal. This particular form of the rare but very powerful To’kustar alien turns Ben into a toweringly large humanoid alien that is red and white toned, possessing superhuman strength and durability, shoot cosmic rays from his arms when formed in an L like fashion, and can create and manipulate cosmic storms. Which can be used in transportation or inhabitation. For Ben though, using this form causes a severe strain on him physically and mentally. Which leave him borderline unconscious whenever he transforms out of it, and generally can’t be in the form as long. Way Big is generally for him ONLY used in a last ditch effort.

Personality:

At his absolute worst, Ben can be considered overly cocky, constantly acts before thinking, stubborn, and if you ask his cousin Gwen, is probably very stupid. However Ben’s heart, bravery, and loyalty are second to very few. Ben generally prides himself on being a good friend to anyone willing to let him be. He has a deep fear of clowns that stems back to a stuffed clown toy named “Mr. Squishy” that kept giving him nightmares. Plus Ben above all other things loves smoothies, especially from Mr. Smoothy's, a small Northeastern chain, and pickles, with the brine and all.

Appearance:

Standing at 5’8 generally Ben has a pretty well kept body despite a… unique diet to say the least. He is athletically toned and generally when working in his super hero work wears the clothes above. The coat, one he bought and detailed himself, has a light kevlar coating in it to dispense any impact on it, as well as sharp or small handgun sized blows.

Affiliation:

Member of the Young Avengers
Gwen and Ken Tennyson - Cousins
Max Tennyson - Grandpa
The Plumbers - Allies

Other:

Nightrunner gave me permission to use the description for the alien forms, as rewriting them would’ve been pointless.

Name:
Scott Pilgrim

Codename:
N/A

Age:
19

Role:
Young Avenger

Appearance:
Scott stands at 181 CM and 76 KG. He's lean, but very fit. His hair is in a messy, short cut and in a light brown color. His eyes are also brown.
He wears jeans, converse and T-shirts. Either with a band-name or a comic book / hero-merchandise.

Personality:
Scott is sweet, a little bit awkward, but in the end a truly brave guy. He doesn't fear physical danger, he does however fear social confrontation. He's not the guy you're gonna see picking an argument. Unless it's over a video-game, he'll always insist that Sonic is better than Mario, there's no convincing him of otherwise. His attention span is absolute garbage.

Abilities:
Superhuman features:
Scott's body's more powerful than your average person. He's super-fast, strong, durable and agile. Not enough to compete with a kryptonian, but more than enough to give most things a pretty good run for their money.

Video-Game Logic:
Scott only refers to it as such, what it truly is is a magical spell cast on him, and a few dousing other people around the world, granting them minor reality-altering powers. The power allowing them to manifest things from their imagination. In Scott's case, it's video-games. However, the power is mostly subconscious, and is not possible for Scott to directly control.

As for right now, it allows Scott several things, such as moves similar to those of the “Street Fighter” franchise. But more passively, it allows his general power to increase by “Leveling up” by using his abilities, or by reaching inner revelation. Much like how most meta's powers grows with practice and growing older.

Skills:

Fighting: Scott is a rather skilled hand-to-hand combatant. His style doesn't resemble any traditional style, even if there are certain influences of kung-fu and Jujitsu in his fighting style.

Musician: Scott is a pretty skilled bass-player and a good back-up vocalist.

Nerd: He's read more comic-books and played more video-games in his life than you could imagine. He's also a rather huge fan of superheroes all over the planet.

Equipment:

N/A

Backstory:

Not much is of interest about Scott's early life. His folks were average, and so was he.. Almost. He had a great passion for entertainment, video-games. Especially the ones including asian-styled fighting games. Such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. But he also enjoyed the more child-friendly titles. Scott also had a knack for getting into fights, partly based upon his fondness of video games, but more so because it was natural instinct for him.

His life didn't get interesting till he moved to North Ontario, Canada and began attending High-school. Where he, on his first day got in a fight with three guys. A fight which he lost. He was given detention because the three guys blamed the entire thing on Scott, and no one else dared to say anything, afraid they to would get beaten up. It was in detention, he met his soon to be best-friend. Wallace. Wallace was sort of a trouble-maker, and sassy. Oh wow, was he sassy.

But he found a friend in Scott, helped the newcommer find his place in the school, and helped motivate Scott into training, to be strong enough to beat the bullies. And wow, was he. He was the strongest kid on campus, even though he was still dubbed a nerd, it didn't matter to Scott.

But as his years in high-school began to come to a close, he noticed that he was even stronger than he had originally thought. He was... Something more than everyone else were. Sure, there were other metas in the city, but once Scott tried.. Truly tried, he overcame them all.

Well. That is, till a girl named Ramona came to town at the start of Scott's senior year. Scott fell head-over-heels in love with the Ramona girl, but she in the beginning didn't pay him any mind. Till she got to know him. She liked him, a lot. But there was a problem.

If the two would be able to be together, Scott would have to beat Ramona’s evil Ex's. Which didn't exactly thrill Scott. Starting with a pirate-looking guy who summoned fire spewing sexy-demons, and ending with her last ex, the mastermind behind it all. Gideon.

Gideon beat Scott, crushed him in fact, both physically and mentally. The boy was forced to just about give up on his chance at romance with Ramona, till he could get strong enough. Which is why he approached the Avengers. In fact, he burst through their front-door and punched the Asguardian member of the team in the jaw. Thor did as you'd expect, respond with an equal punch, flooring Scott.

Scott demanded to join the team, to which the avengers just about laughed at him, but they saw promise in him, and they had him join the Young Avengers initiative, the “in-training” program for the earths mightiest heroes, where both the Avengers, and S.H.I.E.L.D agreed that he'd be able to grow.

Taco-Night Thursday is now obligatory in the Young Avengers headquarters, and it's all thanks to Scott.

Dani Ketch; Ghost Rider

Name:
Danielle 'Dani' Rosa Ketch

Alias:
Ghost Rider

Role:
Titan, Young Avengers

Brief Bio:
Born on Halloween, 1997, Danielle was ushered into the waiting arms of her mother and father, Jonathan and Roxanne Ketch. They were not a rich family, and this was reflected in their small house, and small town. Dani's father earned money as a tradesman, carpentering and building, while doing various handyman tasks on the side for extra income, while her mother tutored after-school. The community of the town, while minimal, was strong, and strengthened by the religion that ran through the core of the residents. Dani's parents were loving, but they were strict, and at times overbearing with their beliefs - and while Dani initially accepted their teachings, soaking them up with the peculiar sponge-like quality only a child's mind possesses, eventually she came to form her own opinions, and then begin to rebel, as teenagers are wont to do.

She began running away, rebelling against the confines of the small town she lived in. Days at a time, her parents distraught with worry, but always being found, or coming back out of regret, homesickness, or hunger. At the same time, her rebellion against her parent's religion found her studying dusty books of the occult and the evil, poring over the supposed dark energies and black hearts of the world. Eventually she stumbled across a great dark tome, musty and emanating an unsettling aura, sitting innocuously on a bookshelf she'd trailed her fingers across the spines of multiple times. It seemed to shudder in her hands as she pulled it out, leather bindings scraping across wood, and the sounds of the pages being leafed through seeming to form whispers in her head. She hid this tome and took it home. She ran away again that night, taking it with her.

She went further than she ever had, deep into the woods on the far west side of the town. Hear, the pages whispered louder and the letters and markings that adorned them seemed to swim beneath her eyes in the darkness. In the center of the tome lay a great inked circle, with scribbles and notes - made quite differently from the rest of the book - frantically dotted around the edges, all seeming to instruct the reader on the performance of some manner of ritual. Reading further, Dani found this ritual supposedly summoned the Devil himself to strike a single deal with the mortal who had brought him forth. Dani went home that night too.

She waited a few days, playing nice with her parents and soothing their worries, her apparent new-found peace assuaging their concern, and on a dark night, they left her at home while they went to dinner. She took her opportunity, taking the tome out from its hiding place and following the instructions she'd found therein precisely. And then Mephisto appeared before her.

He looked into her and saw her desire to leave the town behind her, saw her desire to escape permanently, saw her inability to do so as she was. He offered her the power to do so, on the condition that after her death, she would serve him. Dani accepted, and held out her hand to shake Mephisto's, sealing the pact utterly. As their palms touched and fingers grasped, she felt a great surge rush from Mephisto and into the core of her soul. Mephisto had bound her soul with the demon Zarathos, and to fulfill his end of the deal, made her a Ghost Rider - she transformed immediately, Zarathos overtaking her, her skull bursting aflame. She conjured a Hell-horse, and they rode out of town, Mephisto ensuring she was spotted by the community and her parents.

Now, Dani cannot return home, as she has been branded a demon. Zarathos remains bound to her soul, and they battle for control over the Ghost Rider entity inside her. In the presence of evil under the moon, she transforms, doing the Lord's - and Mephisto's - work by damning them to Hell. Mephisto filled his end of the bargain, however much irony he layered on top - and now Dani dreads the day she will fulfill hers.

She has sought out SHIELD, relinquishing her secret identity in exchange for containment and training, fearing the power of Zarathos and Ghost Rider, and scared of the hold they have over her.

Abilities:
As a mortal, Dani has no powers beyond an exceptional tolerance for physical trauma, as a result of Zarathos' refusal to die with its host, lending her strength to help their mutual survival. However, after night has fallen and in the presence of evil, Zarathos' power overtakes her, and Dani transforms into Ghost Rider, gaining several more powers:

Altered Appearance: Dani sheds her human form and takes on that of Ghost Rider, a vicious skeleton burning with Hellfire, most prominently at the hands and wreathing her skull. Her clothes change too, becoming a leather jacket with spiked shoulders, black jeans, spiked black boots, and a leather belt that bears the sigil of Mephisto.

Hellfire: As Ghost Rider, Dani has the ability to conjure Hellfire, throwing explosive balls of it from her hands, ejecting streams of it from her mouth, or firing it from projectile weapons she may seize while transformed. She also spreads it across objects she takes as her own, changing them into tools and weapons to aid her culling the evil. Hellfire does little physical damage, singing skin, but deeply burns the soul. It only affects evil, and will not harm innocents. Vehicles infused with Hellfire travel and speeds not usually possible by the non-infused counterpart, and are often capable of feats such as riding up walls and making great leaps.

Physical Enhancement: As a result of being an agent of forces both Divine and Demonic, as well as being infused with the demonic power of Zarathos, Ghost Rider is incredibly durable and incredibly strong. Conventional weaponry does very little damage to Ghost Rider, and she is capable of lifting and throwing cars. Ghost Rider also possesses incredibly sharpened reflexes, aiding her fighting and riding.

The Penance Stare: The single most infamous and feared ability of any Ghost Rider, past, present, or future, the Penance Stare is a power of great and terrible magnitudes. By locking eye contact with her victim, and deeply focusing, Ghost Rider can force her victim to relive all the suffering they inflicted upon others, etching their pain into the very core of her victim's soul. For obvious reasons, the effectiveness of this ability depends on the victim, and also requires the victim to indeed possess a soul.

Personality:
Fearful of her power, Dani is cautious above most other things. While she is aware of the parameters that must be met before a transformation can be elicited, she is cynical enough to believe the world to be full of the evil that brings Ghost Rider forth, and therefore does much to avoid public outings, especially after dark. She spends most nights in her cell, or wandering the YA halls, sleeping little in order to avoid the dreams that Zarathos visits upon her, always including fire and terrible muttering from a voice slightly behind her ear.

Despite her 'condition', or perhaps because of it, Dani still enjoys researching into and reading about occult practices and the darker sides of the magic that she now knows to be real. She's also interested in mythology and religious texts, as she views it as history rather than legend after her encounter with Mephisto- though she's not religious herself. She also enjoys writing and sketching, filling massive sheets of paper and entire notepads with words and drawings of genius and nonsense, often using it to get Zarathos' whispers out of her in almost cathartic release. She dislikes naivety, since it was that quality that afforded her her curse, and also has little patience for those with closed minds or mocking standpoints, wasting no time on people who would rather make fun of beliefs and interests than discuss opposing views. Ghost Rider's purpose also seems to have splintered into her mortal identity as well, as she has a deep and passionate hatred of those who would harm others, no matter how small or grand the offense. She fears Ghost Rider and what she is capable of, but is trying to accept that the entity's actions are more often that not benevolent, if vicious. She know that with control, she will stand as a formidable guardian of the righteous and pure-hearted against those that would seek to corrupt the world.

Appearance:
On her run up to 19, Dani stands at 5 foot 10, although this elevates to 6 feet when she transforms. Her hair is short and messily cut, a shade of mousey brown, and she has gray eyes. Her face is angular and while 'pretty', it's often for filling a niche or label such as 'hipster' or 'pixie', rather than being generically attractive. She's slender without muscle, looking wiry with bones jutting forth from beneath the skin in places - something she feels fitting in light of recent events. She has no marks or tattoos, apart from ear piercings, but the back of her right hand - the hand she sealed her deal with - is branded with Mephisto's sigil, which is also present on Ghost Rider's belt when she transforms, though it remains etched onto the skeletal hand, the brand being that deep.

Affliation:
While being contained under her own wishes by SHIELD, she is receiving training and tutoring to control her transformations, and herself while transformed, in an attempt to join the Young Avengers. She is trying to strike up friendships with a few of the current team members - Wiccan, for she hopes his powers stem from the same occult magic hers do, and they can learn more together; Hulkling, for she hopes he can aid her in controlling the transformation aspect of her powers; Scott Pilgrim, as he seems to have a good heart that could help Dani conquer the dark lurking in hers.

She also receives visits from Nick Fury, who oversees her containment and training, as well as Doctor Strange, who sees that the magic required on her cell holds, and mentors her in controlling the occult powers that fuel Ghost Rider.

Roman Sionis; Black Mask

Name:
Roman Sionis

Alias:
Black Mask

Role:
Villain; Potential Mentor

Brief Bio:
His father an industrialist and the head of Sionis Industries, his mother a retail expert and head of Janus Cosmetics, Roman grew up rich but neglected. His parents dragged him to the high-class parties they attended for face only, forcing him to befriend the children of the people they loathed, most notably Bruce Wayne of the Wayne Family. His parents hated their peers, however, and Roman grew to resent his parents for their superficial nature, and hate the masks they wore in public. Late in Roman's adolescence, he inherited Sionis Industries, Janus Cosmetics, and the accompanying fortunes when his parents died in a mysterious fire that broke out at their manor and razed the property to the ground. Sionis quickly sunk his funds into booze, drugs, hookers and gambling, plummeting the companies into the ground and allowing Wayne Industries to make an easy and company-saving buyout, backed by Bruce Wayne. Driven mad by the loss of his legacy, Roman turned his hatred and rage onto the man who had saved his family's companies from the brink of oblivion, and carved a mask from the ebony wood of his father's coffin, wearing it to disguise himself as he targeted Wayne Industries, sabotaging factories and murdering employees. Batman intervened, and in the ensuing battle a raging inferno broke out, and eventually seared Sionis' mask permanently to his face. He took on his moniker of Black Mask completely, and would soon become one of Gotham's most ruthless, vicious, and sadistic crime lords, commanding a gang known as the False Face Society.

Black Mask's first rise to power came about after one of Batman's broader attempts to fight organized crime in Gotham City. After the fall of the Falcone and Maroni Empires, gang wars erupted to seize the territory and assets suddenly available. Batman enlisted Orpheus, a costumed gang leader, who worked with a teen fledgling hero named Spoiler, to help him end unrest in Gotham. Black Mask found and murdered Orpheus, assuming his identity, and then using his persuasive talents to glean vital information about Batman's plans from Spoiler, before betraying and torturing her. Sionis, acting as Orpheus, followed the plans, rallying all the factions into a single united force behind him, before revealing his true identity as Black Mask, murdering Spoiler, and initiating a spree of carnage that ravaged Gotham, and allowed Black Mask to seize undisputed and complete control of its criminal underworld.

Months after, however, Black Mask found his empire being explicitly targeted by both Batman and the newly returned Red Hood. He was approached by Deathstroke offering an invitation into The Society, and he accepted. Several hitmen were sent to dispatch Batman and Red Hood, but were ultimately vanquished, preventing The Society from forming a foothold in Gotham, and plunging Black Mask's criminal operations into disrepair. Desperate to claw back his now tenuous grip on the power he used to hold, Black Mask threatened Catwoman and her loved ones, calling her out. Catwoman defeated him, and he was shipped to Arkham.

Shortly after, he escaped in a massive orchestrated hit, blowing up Arkham and drugging some of its more eminent inmates with an activated poison. He was acknowledged as the leader and escaped, preparing for his re-entrance back into Gotham by destroying the reigns of Two-Face and Penguin that had risen in his absence, and soon we was Gotham's singular Crime Lord once again. His empire came under fire from the National Guard, and with Sionis' forces weak, Batman chose to strike, defeating Black Mask again and dismantling his control, sending him to Blackgate while Arkham was rebuilt.

He remains there now, but his False Face Society has not disbanded completely. There are still loyal followers, and Black Mask always has cogs in motion to return to his rightful place as ruler of Gotham.

Abilities:
While Black Mask has no metahuman abilities, he is highly skilled in several areas which he uses to his advantage as a crime boss of Gotham:

Criminal Mastermind: He is arguably the greatest criminal strategist and organizer in all of Gotham, having taken complete control of the entire Gotham underworld on at least two occasions.

Torture Master: Perhaps his most defining skill is his mastery in both physical and psychological torture, which he often uses to extract information or to punish his enemies - or even just for sadistic fun.

Hand to Hand Combatant: His fighting skills are considerable and his technique is varied and does not stray away from 'dirty' fighting. While not on par with masters like Batman, he's still a competent opponent.

Marksman: He is an excellent marksman who is often successful in hitting his targets. He is experienced with several forms of weaponry, most notably handguns, RPG's, and assault rifles.

Personality:
Mildy psychopathic, Roman Sionis has an obssessive personality and narcissistic tendencies. He is fixated on the concept of masks, both physically and metaphorically, and he is feared in the criminal world for his infamous viciousness, ruthlessness, and brutality. Sionis is intensely sadistic, inflicting the most degraded of both physical and psychological tortures on his enemies, but he hides a cunning and strategic mind, often showing a criminal genius which is surely the source of his previous rises to great power in Gotham. He is short-tempered and often lashes out angrily on his thugs, throwing punches to relieve anger.

Appearance:
Sionis' mask is no longer so; after the fire, the ebony was seared to his skin and the face beneath scarred. Roman Sionis is Black Mask, and the skull mask is his face. He stands at 6 feet and 1 inch, weighing in at 195 pounds. His hair is burnt off beneath the mask, but his eyes still see, irises black, like true windows to who Sionis has become. He wears expensive, tailored suits, occasionally donning long designer coats, and forgoes any combat armour or helpful gear, avoiding the outlandish costumes that many of his rival villains and heroic foes take up.

Affliation:
While not currently mentoring anyone, Black Mask is a respected crime boss, and more than willing to take on a right-hand man to aid him is building his third empire. Kyle Rayner; The Teen Lantern

"Let those who worship Evil's Might, Beware my Power."

_____Name:
Kyle Rayner

_____Alias:
The Teen Lantern
The Torchbearer

_____Role:
Titan

_____Brief Bio:
Born in Earth's year 2000, Kyle Rayner was raised by a single mother because his father had disappeared mere weeks before his birth. For the first twelve or so years of his life, Kyle had shown signs of a gifted intelligence that was largely manifested through his creative abilities and reflected through his grades and regularly received awards.

In his early teenage years, he grew fond of and obsessed over the superheroes that were coming to the forefront of the world's news. While America struggled to legalize Marijuana, he worried about a civil war that could break out in Atlantis or an Apokolyptan invasion. While he was still quite intelligent, he socially receded to the point where he was a social outcast by choice. He didn't follow trends or even try to fit in, but he could be quite charming when he wanted to be.

When he turned fifteen, he began fighting crime in New York as best he could using a homemade costume and improvised weaponry and tools. He used the alias 'The Torchbearer' because he thought it sounded cool. The Torchbearer was never particularly notable as far as notoriety in the NYC's large community of superheroes.

But one day, when he was in a fight with a mugger and losing, he was scared to death, but he grit his teeth and kept fighting to protect the man being robbed simply because it was the right thing to do. He had several bruised ribs and a collection of injuries. Then he saw the light.

A Green Lantern ring came from the sky, choosing him to wear it, capturing his assailant, and shipping him off to the planet Oa. It was there that he was trained by the lantern Kilowogg and various other instructors. Then, a while later, he returned home to planet Earth, not quite covert enough to escape the notice of SHIELD, however. He was then taken in for questioning and basically forced him to act on their behalf while he was on Earth, making him a member of the Young Avengers.

Despite strongly disliking the degree of security and lack of privacy due to his life with SHIELD, he's grown as a hero and has taken to using the ring as best he knows how, only occasionally abusing it's power for his own benefit.

_____Abilities:
Communication: The ring translates almost all modern languages in the universe and can interpret the majority of outdated ones in a way that allows the user a great variety of alternatives to speaking his own language. Also, like a cell phone, the ring is a part of a network that extends through the cosmos, keeping him in contact with his fellow Lanterns and other beings equipped with the proper equipment.

Constructs: Channeling his willpower and creativity, the ring creates nearly any physical manifestation that he wants for it to. Though the majority of users lack the ability to use it to cure an illness or permanently alter a structure. He is always aware of the location of his constructs, even if he isn't necessarily the one moving them. It creates within him a sensitivity to distinct shades of green and he can alter the tones of his constructs, even dimming them to near ebony.

Flight: Through a protective aura generated by the ring, he can propel himself in any direction at great speed through his own willpower.

Utility Belt: It includes actual utilities such as money, a cell phone, tape, fishing line, a flashlight, laser pointer, Sonic Grenade (Think Geek), and various medicines amongst other things in case his ring should ever die mid-mission.

_____Personality:
Kyle is genuinely a lighthearted individual. He enjoys frequent joking and tries his best to keep things going well. But he is not without flaws. He, while never consciously giving in to peer pressure, occasionally partakes in drinking because minors are specifically not allowed to do so. He hates the notion of his freedom being limited by anyone for any purpose. Because of this, he has an attraction to thoughtful and analytical people, privacy, superheroes, punk rock, and alternative music. He has something of a gift for self-expression, most strongly observable in his artistry. Despite his intentional rebellion, he enjoys making scenes, causing a ruckus, and is susceptible to the pressures of youth.

_____Appearance:

_____Affliation:
The Green Lantern Corps:
•Hal Jordan: Though many people call him the greatest Green Lantern, Kyle doesn't really like Hal at all. Though, Hal has acted as something of a mentor to Kyle because, unlike most GLs, he and Kyle are extra-dramatic as superheroes.
•Kilowogg: The drill sergeant who trained Kyle. At this point, Kyle sees him as a controll freak.

Young Avengers:
•Ben 10: Kyle considers Ben to be one of his best friends and recognizes him as the team's other playful powerhouse.
•Bucky: Mostly because of his authoritative nature, Kyle dislikes the Captain America stand-in.
•Ghost Rider: She's hot. For Kyle, that's as complicated as it gets. He doesn't really have a crush on her, but he is not above hitting on a flaming skeleton girl.
•Hulkling
•Scott Pilgrim: Kyle also gets along well with Scott.
•Wiccan

_____Other:
This version of Kyle was inspired by a throwaway line in Young Justice about a year ago. When the Justice League was coming down on the Team, John Stewart said something like "This is why there isn't a Teen Lantern." I paused, googled it, and found out that he was kinda right, but there was a great story in there somewhere. Since then I've been dedicated to finding it.

Name: Joseph William Wilson

Alias: Jericho

Role: Titan

Brief Bio: Joseph "Joe" Wilson was born one year prior to his sister, Rose,on May 1999 to Slade Wilson and Lilian Worth. Growing up alongside his Sister, he often called her Rosey. Regarded as a bright boy, Joe never quite got along with others. He mostly kept to his sister.

When their mother died, Joe was taken into foster care. Bouncing from home to home, Joe's anger and resentment at not only his mother for leaving him, but his sister for never coming for him, got him into fights. Eventually he was adopted by a friend of Slade, John Lynch. Lynch took the boy in at Slade's request, and trained Joe. Six months into his training, Joseph's psychic abilities started to develop, which Lynch augmented with a serum called the Genfactor.

Lynch then took the boy to Gotham to be reunited with his father & Sister, but they were accosted by a street gang. Lynch was killed in the struggle and in his rage, Joe forced the thugs to commit suicide.

Now without a mentor and no guidance, Joe wanders Gotham much in the same way Rose felt prior to Slade taking her in. On the streets, he's a thief, using his mind controlling abilities to force others to give him what he needs.

Abilities: Jericho has psychic abilities. He can control others with his mind, and move things with his mind. Both of these powers take his concentration, and as such, he cannot fight while using his powers. Trained by John Lynch, he has adept hand to hand combat abilities.

Name:
Daniel "Dan" Fenton

Alias:
Dan Phantom
Dan Plasmius

Role:
Villain

Brief Bio:
Dan Phantom is the product of the series of unfortunate events that befell young Danny Fenton after he cheated on the career aptitude test. It started with Mr. Lancer, who'd been suspicious of him, asked Danny's family to come to the Nasty Burger for a meeting. Sam and Tucker were also there, but the Nasty Burger's vat of condiments exploded, killing everyone except Danny. Danny was forced to move in with Vlad Masters, since no one else could understand his situation and despite the hatred that the two had shared for each other, Vlad treated Danny with great sympathy. However Danny couldn't deal with the guilt anymore and asked his former archenemy to remove his ghost half, believing that it was responsible for the deaths of his family and friends. He also thought that his ghost half would be free of all emotion, ridding him of the pain and guilt that he was feeling. Vlad agreed to help and tore Danny Phantom out of Danny Fenton with the Ghost Gauntlets, but after the procedure, Danny Phantom did the same to Vlad and bonded with his ghost half. Thus, Dan Phantom was born and he destroyed his human side, before blowing up Vlad's mansion and then flew off to unleash a ten year period of destruction throughout the Human and Ghost Worlds.

When the Observants saw the terrible future that Dan had unleashed, they commanded Clockwork to destroy Danny in the past so as to prevent Dan from ever coming into being. However the time ghost instead sent in various future ghost that set of a series of events that caused him to end up in the future to confront Dan, who'd been reducing the future Amity Park to rubble having finally gotten through its ghost shield with his Ghostly Wail power. Danny was no match for his evil older self and eventually Dan fused him with a time medallion that trapped him in the future so that the half-ghost wouldn't be able to stop him from coming into being. He threw Danny into the Ghost Zone to make sure he stayed out of the way and then transformed himself into a fourteen year old version of his human self. Dan used another time medallion to go to the past to ensure the events that created him would happen, however Danny's sister, Jazz, found out what he really was. He successfully cheated on the C.A.T. using the answers, causing Lancer to call his parents over to the Nasty Burger as a demonstration of what awaited those who failed the test. Sam and Tucker came to try and warn them of the imminent explosion and Jazz arrived, proceeding to use the Fenton Ghost Peeler to reveal Dan. He managed to used ectoplasm trap them on the condiment vat, but the Danny Phantom arrived, having succeeded in getting the time medallion out of him with help from the future version of Vlad. Dan couldn't kill his younger self, but only had to hold him off until the sauce exploded and even with the Specter Deflector and Ghost Gauntlets, Danny couldn't defeat his evil older self. However his determination to save his family and friends caused Danny to unleash the Ghostly Wail power. This shocked Dan, since he wasn't supposed to gain that power for 10 years. Danny unleashed a second Ghostly Wail that blasted Dan into a building and trapped him in the Fenton Thermos. However Danny was too weak to save his family and friends in time, but Clockwork's intervention saved them and he sent the half-ghost back to before the test so as to give him a chance to change his future. The time ghost then took charge of Dan, who existed outside of the timestream now that Danny would never become him.

Dan then spent two years trapped out side of the timestream in the Fenton Thermos. His time of isolation caused him to come to terms with his defeat at the hands of his younger self and to become a more cold and calculating person, his mind set went from thinking like a simple destroyer to thinking like a conqueror. He longed for his freedom but more importantly longed for the opportunity to regain his title as the most powerful ghost in existence. He was finally able to escape when the disappearance of the adults weakened Clockwork, who is an adult and child at the same time. Once free of the Thermos Dan made his way out of the Ghost zone and set up residence in Gotham City, making a living as a high class thief.

Abilities:

Personality:
Dan is sadistic, cruel, and heartless. He finds great joy in destruction and murder, especially when he his the one doing it. He has a sense of humor like his younger self, but it is much more dark. Dan is also rather cocky and arrogant, often declaring himself the most powersul ghost ever.

Appearance:

Affiliation:
Jack and Maddie Fenton (Parents)
Jazz Fenton (Sister)
Danny Fenton (Younger self)

Other:
Dan has a perfect memory of all the locations of natural portals to the ghost zone.

Name: Cassandra Cain

Alias: Black Bat

Role: Titan.

Brief Bio: Born to assassin David Cain and Lady Shiva(Sandra Wu-San), on May 23,1999, Cassandra Cain was destined for violence before she even drew her first breath. As a toddler, Shiva gave Cassandra to David, who then took Cassandra to a monastery in Tibet, where the monks neither spoke nor socialized. Here, David trained her in silence, teaching her no language but violence. For Years she was instructed in every kind of martial art, learning everything to know about combat. When she had mastered hand to hand combat, David moved on to weapons.

Using his contacts within the League of Assassins, David brought in numerous tutors, all the best in their chosen weapon. By age Ten, She had mastered shuriken, by eleven, the staff. As she progressed, Cassandra developed the ability to read body language and emotion. When she was 13, David brought in a condemned serial killer, and instructed her to kill him. She did so, believing it to be a game, but when she saw the man's face, she was horrified, scarred by his dying expression, terror.

Running from her father and home, Cassandra swore off killing and became a homeless girl. Arriving in Gotham, Cassandra spent weeks avoiding the criminal underground until one night she was cornered by several thugs. Barbara, then Batgirl, had arrived on-scene following up a lead on the gang the thugs belonged to, started to help when Cassandra fought back. Amazed at the girl's fighting ability, Barbara took the girl to Bruce, who agreed to take her in off of Barbara's insistence.

Having already assessed her combat ability, Bruce began to train her in the art of detection, interrogation, and tracking. Unfortunately, her training had left her mute and unable to understand written or spoken language.

Working to rectify this, Bruce brought Cassandra to Elixir, the man who had saved Jason's life. Joshua then tapped into her mind, and rewired her to be able to understand English. With her mutism and dyslexia more or less fixed, Cassandra sought to go back out in the field but found that her linguistic ability had come at a cost; her combat ability was dampened.

Angry, Cassandra spent hours learning both English, detective work, and regaining her combat skills. She pushed herself so hard she often slept in the Batcave. When Bruce deemed she was ready, she went back out in the field, this time as the new Batgirl, with Oracle being confined to a wheelchair.

During the five years she operated as Batgirl, Cassandra fought Bruce's Rogues, and even made an enemy of her own: David Cain, her own father. David had spent years tracking down his daughter and when he found her at Bruce's side, he vowed to kill her AND Bruce. What ensued would arguably be the worst fight of her career. She had beaten her father, but at nearly the cost of her own life.

A month later, Barbara came back foe the wheelchair and Cassandra stepped down as Batgirl, noting how badly Barbara needed the mantle. Taking her old costume, Cassandra decided to go solo for a while, and renamed herself Black Bat. Bruce approved, and gave her the Bowery to patrol and protect.

Now she has caught a case that may prove she has what it takes to be a detective. A string of Gang-related deaths in the Bowery May be more than suicide, and the signs point to a telepath…

Equipment: in her utility belt, Cassandra carries batarangs, a grapple gun, a mini forensics kit, and a collapsible staff.

Abilities:

Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Having been raised from birth by David Cain to effectively be a weapon, Cassandra is a master of various forms of close quarters combat, and can even read body language to anticipate opponents' moves

Detective: While not as good as Bruce, or Jason, Cassandra is a detective in her own right, and is still struggling with the field, although, she is learning.

Athlete/Parkour:Being in extremely good shape for someone of her size and weight, she is an excellent athlete, and can easily best Olympic gymnasts. She can also navigate the city via Parkour.

Weapons-master: As a child, David drilled weapons training into her, forging her into a weapon capable of fighting with almost any weapon, especially swords or shuriken.

Near-Photokinetic Reflexes: By watching video or seeing an acrobatic or combat maneuver several times, she can perform any move within normal human range. She still has to practice in order to achieve proficiency

Personality: Cassandra is tomboyish, and never thinks in a feminine sense. She tends to think tactically, and prefers to intimidate rather than flirt with the guys in her life. Due to her unorthodox upbringing, she has a fear of becoming like her father, or mother. She has a temper though, and as such, tends to be headstrong or impulsive.

Appearance:

Unmasked, Cassandra Cain has black hair, and green eyes. She is half-Asian, and significantly more toned and fit than a girl of her height and weight. . When in costume, Cassandra wears the same outfit she sported during her Batgirl days, having only modified it slightly. She now wraps tape around the gauntlets, and her cape is more tattered.

Affliation:
Batman/Bruce Wayne(Mentor): Bruce took her in at Barbara Gordon's request. He has overseen much of her detective training, and considers her a daughter. She in turn views him as a father figure and Bruce has even formally adopted her as Cassandra.
Jason Todd-Cassandra has met Jason, but only after he became Red Hood. She considers him rude, and abrasive.

Other:
Her height is 5'5" and her weight is 110
