Makes things more interesting, no? If my admiral's views and treatment provoke a mutiny, that isn't nessecarily a bad thing from a story standpoint. I probably shouldn't have called him a radical since he sees the Shouters as traitors and openly denounces them despite how other members of the party may support them behind his back. His beliefs are if anything probably more conservative on second thought given his loyalty to the crown despite his political affiliations and ultimately wanting the king's power to expand more than replacing the king with an autocrat. All in all, he's moderate as far as One Voice party members go. As for aliens, mind that aliens don't really have much say as is politically anyhow and are a minority in this kingdom. Therefore I imagine a admiral with xenophobic views isn't that terribly unprecedented even if aliens under his command would have low morale.
