"I'm glad you're here, Mister Locksley. I was told you are the best at finding evidence." Jason Taylor said. Robert forced a face smile. "I've been told that, Mister Taylor... But this Robin Hood guy is good. Really good. He covers his tracks well, as if he knows just where you might look." It was as if Robin Hood was used to be a lawyer. Oh if they only knew. He just waved his hand. "Yes, he's gotten lucky. but I got permission for you from the police chief to give you all the files needed to help find him. You'll have all access to the Robin Hood files." He could have gotten them one way or another, but he wanted to make people like him a bit more than they do now.. so he was going to be sneaky about getting it. "To be completely honest sir, I was surprised to get the call from you. It seemed that everyone forgot my name years ago." Robert said with a weak smile. "Oh yes, dear boy. I was so shocked to hear that, I wish there was anything I could have done." He gave a smile, and Robert gave one right back. He knew he was one of the people who ruined his career. He didn't buy his act. "I'm glad you're giving me a second chance. You won't be sorry." Robert gave a signature grin, shaking his hand. "Yes, I have no doubt about that. I'll let you get started. Oh, and there are a few people calling for your assistance for their law problems as well. Seems like your reputation has lived on." Robert nodded, and with one last fake smile, he exited the office. He looked around, and immediately saw Edward leaning against the wall... Wait, no! He was basically leaning on her! that wasn't okay. Especially with his lady! Well, not his... but still! He walked over to him, pulling him back rather hard on the shoulder to make him spin to face him. "Hey, Eddy. Your dad wanted me to get you. Wanted to talk to you about you making phone calls to those weird dirty hotlines?" Robert asked with a shrug, a bit of judgment in his voice. His eyebrow raised, a bit of confusion in them. "What? I've never done that!" He exclaimed. "Well then there's another Edward Taylor walking around the firm having nice conversations with a girl named 'Vanilla.'" Robert said with his hands raised. Still very confused, and mad at Robert for ruining his chances with Marian, he left. Robert immediately turned to face Marian. She looked great as always, but he tried his best to hide himself drooling over her. "Miss Anderson. Glad to see you're still fighting the good fight. Good to see you again." He said professionally. If he was going to have a chance with her, he wasn't going to be a tool like Edward. He was sure she was going to reply with something polite, but he new she really didn't care if she ever saw Robert Locksley again, which kinda killed him inside now.
