David shot up immediately and without a word. His instincts were acting up again. Approaching the tree he did what he (arguably) did best:

Play the hero.

Putting just bit of strength in his legs, he jumped up and reached the spot where Autumn was at. He stretched out a hand. "Here," he called out, "just stay calm."
