Holding her hand firmly but gently and being careful not to overuse his strength, he pulled Autumn towards him and went into free fall. He switched Autumns positioning and carried her bridal style as he fell. David landed on the ground seconds later, looking absolutely unaffected by the height he fell from. He looked down at Autumn, smiling. 

"You all right?" he asked. Stuff like that usually affected people's nerves. It wouldn't be strange to say she would be a bit off balance.
