I'm gonna post what I've done for my family history so far here and add to it as more ideas come. I'll then post the final draft in the RP itself*.

[u]Wilhelm Von Meron I:[/u]
The stories of many families usually begin with the founder performing a certain feat that impresses the right people enough to make them grant land to the family's founder. In the case of the Von Merons however, this is far from what happened. The year was 1239 and an ambitious leader of an infamous band of robbers and bandits set his sights on the prospect of robbing a noble family of something no other bandit in history had ever stolen: Land. The target was a disgraced noble house that was too poor to sustain a good military. Since no one liked that family, no one came to help when the bandits attacked the land and killed the family. But when the bandits declared dominion over the freshly ravaged lands, the more enterprising nobles underestimated the bandits and attacked, hoping to grab some land for themselves. These nobles were seen off by vicious guerrilla warriors and well organized defense. Soon enough the other nobles let the bandits keep the land and from that day forward, Wilhelm Von Meron and his successors became known as the bandit lords.

[u]Gustav Von Meron:[/u]
After he rose to power, Wilhelm Von Meron pulled several women of the streets of his domain and made them into concubines*. Gustav, his 2 older brothers**, his twin sister***, and his younger bother**** were the children of Wilhelm and one of his concubines. In 1290, Ferdinand and Wilhelm II approached the now elderly Wilhelm Von Meron I and demanded some land of their own from their father. Wilhelm I responded by throwing axes into the skulls of his 2 eldest sons. Knowing that he would meet the same fate if he asked his father for land, Gustav instead poisoned his Wilhelm I. It is said that Wilhelm I's last words were "You've done me proud, Gustav. Unlike your older brothers. With the death of Wilhelm I, Gustav Von Meron became the new bandit lord.

*This would become a tradition among the bandit lords.

[u]Franz Von Meron:[/u]


[u]Larz Von Meron:[/u]
Larz was a mad, incompetent, penniless fool who fervently believed himself possessed by The Devil. When he ascended to power after defeating his father in a fight to the death, Larz ruled for a full 5 minutes before Adolf Von Meron shot Larz in the throat with a crossbow. Adolf then proceeded to burn any historical document to do with Larz, since he considered his older sibling a disgrace to the Von Meron name and didn't deserve to be remembered. Larz died before he could have children, allowing Adolf to take over.
