Leaving aside that Alexander the Great didn't found a nation, I'm not of the opinion that this is an entirely bad GM. The entire initial idea (which I quite liked, personally) was scrapped after someone(s?) pointed out that it wouldn't be realistic. Now it's some fungus bullshit from space. Maybe I just got the scale wrong, but the bit about this being a small-scale, struggling to start "nation" that exists as a loose idea in a few people's heads appealed to me because it sounded fun and interesting to play. I think what we're expected to do is take the guidelines and limitations set out and play with them to the best of our abilities. Oh well, hopefully something more interesting will turn up.
