Name: Ariella Cryx Age: 19 Appearance: She stands 5'2" with an athletic build. Her finger tips are calloused from playing her lute. Personality: Ariella can’t trust people; everyone is perceived as trying to take advantage of her somehow. She sees no value in other people’s lives. The only thing that brings color into her life is art, specifically music. She realizes that she cannot avoid contact with people, but she tries to minimize any conversation if at all possible. She’s unafraid to be brutally honest as she sees no point in manners or consideration since she doesn’t expect anyone else to do the same for her. Bio: Ariella grew up a good child, one that tried her best for her troubadour mother. That was at least until a band of bandits assaulted the caravan and took her mother away along with other members of the caravan. At that point Ariella was twelve years old. Ariella never saw her mother again after that day. The caravan leader, after recovering the remains, continued onward to the next city bringing Ariella with them. However, he refused to truly take care of the girl and left her in the city before moving onto his next deal leaving behind Ariella’s mother’s instrument: a lute. Over time Ariella mastered how to survive on her own by stealing, playing music, and taking advantage of drunkards using their selfishness against them. Unfortunately, she never learned how to rely on someone else without taking advantage of them. Skills: She lacks any serious combat capabilities outside of an ability to throw objects quite accurately at a short distance. She knows how to play piano and lute. She has quite some talent with sleight of hand and lock-picking. Equipment: She has her mother's lute and a set of lock picks that she keeps hidden in a secret pocket in her belt pouch.
