Daniel made a mental note of her name and nickname, even if he really just planned on calling her by her full first name anyway. He never really liked nick names, and Yolanda had a pretty cool name to begin with. He gave her a knowing look when the orderly came and took her out of her room, and she gave him a small, mysterious half smile back as they took her out of her room, leading her away now. He knew that they would be letting him out soon as well, so he would catch up with her in the rec. room. While he waited to be let out, he walked across the room, to the sink. He looked into the small mirror above it, studying his face for a moment. Using his hand, he pushed his hair back for a moment, revealing his forehead and more of his eyes. He made a face, accompanied by a sort of snorting noise. He removed his hand, letting his hair fall back down to its original place just above his eyes. He shook his head a bit, laughing at himself. And then, he saw it. It was only for a split second, just as his eyes were about to leave the mirror, but it was there. One of them, caught in the reflection of the mirror. Oozing blackness, dripping with darkness, moving quicker than something that looks like that should move. His heart skipped a beat, and his eyes quickly darted back to the mirror where he, of course, found nothing. But he knew what he saw. He had been seeing them for months. If they were around, so was trouble. And then, just as he was about to start freaking out, he heard an orderly tapping on the bars of his room with on one of their nightstick contraptions. IT was Daniel's turn to leave. He was more than happy to go.
