I believe some species of animals even go so far as release a certain chemical that can cause mental disorders/diseases if one of the same species eats their flesh. Some kind of deterrent to preserve the species or something like that.

But then again Mokuren is a Fox-based Faunus while Geni is Lion-based so...maybe that wouldn't be a thing? I'unno.

Edit: There's also a such thing as 'Sexual cannibalism' since it seems that a few of us have our minds in the gutter. xD
