--- School Library --- A hazed world came into view as Lexie slowly opened her eyes and tried to focus on what was causing the annoying, vibrating sound. Moving slowly she twisted her head, rolling her chin on the table until she could see her mobile phone. The LED light was glowing as she reached out for it, picked it up and took a glance at the screen. <1 New Message> "Akio?" she thought as she opened the message only to discover that it was from a new source, Ryousei. She sneered at the message noticing the part that mentioned 'helping each other'. "Yeah right... Of course you want to help me!" she texted back while speaking out in a snarly attitude. Her thumb hit the send button and she slammed her phone back down on the table, remembering all the times people offered to help only to lead her on an unwanted trip that would leave her ridiculed and/or embarrassed. She dropped her head back down onto the table feeling this sick feeling grow inside her gut and her skin go numb. Her breathing began to increase when the sound of the phone vibrating again could be heard. A nauseous feeling filled her as she made the terrifying trek back to her handset to see what this new reply was. She saw the message and was a bit confused before taking a look at her watch to notice that it was almost 5pm. "Holy Crap!" she cursed as she sprung to life off the chair, grabbing her bag, throwing it over her shoulder and dashing out of the library leaving all the books she was looking at still on the table and taking a full disregard for returning them to the shelves. She left the library to head off to their usual meeting point when a man stepped out from behind one of the bookcases and slowly walked over to the table before picking up one of the exposed books and analysing the displayed contents. He turned around and leaned back against the table edge to take the weight off from his feet while he flicked through the next few pages and inspected a bit more. A small chime could be heard as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone to read the new message.
