Humans are undergoing a mysterious change. 1 in every 1,000,000 children are being born with highly unusual brain wave patterns. Of those children, less than a third survive a week. The ones that do survive, are taken from their parents to special "Observation Centers"The children are placed in Solitary confinement. They're educated privately, and kept away from human contact. It's been discovered that these unique girls and boys all have extraordinary intelligence. Most of them also seem to have developed some sort of "Special" abilities. But as a result of their detainment, their social capabilities are probably lacking, at best. One of the largest Observation Centers is The Vartican Center, located in England. This is where this story will take place. Detained children are given reading materials, and three meals are delivered to their cells each day. On this day, however, breakfast did not come. The children would instead find that their doors were open, and all of the Authority figures were no where to be found. What was happening? How would they survive? The story starts here 

 I want to avoid cliche elemental powers. I was thinking something more along the lines of mental powers. Telekenesis, and things like that.
