His teammates were up, and apparently so was the opposing team because they were coming. "Alright then, time for a little defense." He started creating rods and planting them into the ground, bonding them together to create a small fortification. Making a couple steps and  climbing up and alerted his team below. "Decibel, Shadow, best move out of the way!" Since none of his opponents were currently flying or anything he thought he would take a simple approach to test the waters. Throwing his hands out tiny beads by the hundreds began rolling and clattering down the hill. "No traction for you." He thought to himself. Now to see how they all reacted.
