Simon struggled at first and was covered by the web as well as his gum, but he smiled. When the gum became mixed with Jack's webbing, Simon used his candy powers to make gum and most of the webbing fly off of him. He had trouble get back up to his feet, but he still managed and then fired off a mass of gumballs and jawbreakers at the place where he though his partner was.
