"I see." Devon continued a bit awkwardly. "Well, um...you know...we're here for you if you need anything, so..." Giving a slightly lopsided smile, the young dragon started backing up to its spot. "I hope you feel better soon, then!" 

Reaching the previous spot, Devon couldn't help but wonder if it would have been okay to say something else. There had been more in mind, but being unused to comforting people seriously left even what had been said way to awkward to continue... At least the girl's -[i]Autumn's[/i]- sister knew what she was doing. It must be kinda nice to have such a caring sibling around. 

All thoughts were halted yet again at the sound of David's...singing? The blue-eyed teen wasn't really sure what to think of it...but it wouldn't do to be rude, right? He probably tried pretty hard there; nobody can do everything, right? "Ah...that was really something there. That's a pretty cool song though, it's good to know that someone else knows it. I don't really know any other songs by the artists, but I guess I kinda like that one."
