"Just because I know how he feels doesn't mean I can help him," Takeshi pointed out, sighing as he rubbed at the back of his head, "I got better when I got you back, but he doesn't have that, you know? He's got everyone he's ever been with, so he's not bummed because someone's gone. Unless he's upset about Vegeta's folks, but we're going to fix that." There was a nagging feeling that missing Vegeta's parents wasn't what had Viral this way, in fact he was sure of it. Maybe the same thing was wrong with Viral that was wrong with Shu, and certain things made him freak out or nervous. Vegeta had a name for the condition but for the life of him Takeshi couldn't remember it, only that it was pretty nasty. Unless he could figure out how to work with Shu there wasn't a chance in hell of him helping Viral any. All the reason to ask the doctor about it, the guy probably saw loads while working with soldiers. That was the plan, yet moments later during their first meeting in quite a while he was smacked with a clipboard, and pretty quickly the Kaesstrian went on Takeshi's crap list. Hey, it wasn't his fault the guy looked funny! Getting over the initial pain of being smacked he frowned at Renthal, folding his arms and huffing unamused. Renthal only had to look at T'charrl to notice there was plenty bothering the boy. The way he carried himself, the fact that he seemed rather tired, everything about him was screaming worn out. Goodness knows what he had been through during their travels, and what was with his appearance? That was new, perhaps a side effect of traveling? Ech, suddenly he wasn't so keen on going out into space now. "You might as well have been here every week, hm! You were my number one patient!" the doctor said, "And I don't mean that in a good light boy. I'll give you the check up you want, but don't whine if I tell you to go lie down for a while, understand? I know your friends are here but what I say in this room is law, got it?" Despite his small stature he grabbed one of the Prince's hands and near dragged him to a bed, making the young Kaesstrian take a seat. Adjusting his glasses then Renthal went through the standard routine, checking blood pressure, heart rates and the likes. It only took a few minutes and when he was done the doctor nodded knowingly, giving his head a scratching. "Well... I'll be honest, everything checks out fine. I don't quite get why you're feeling weak. You've been eating, yes? Drinking plenty? Gotten sleep?" "Uh... It could be he's still got his space legs..." Haku offered, having finally finished his talk with Vegeta. Getting a scrutinizing look from Renthal he shirked back some, frowning as he wrung his hands together nervously. "Well, you see... It's common in the Saiyan military, especially for those who don't do space travel a lot. Your body gets used to a different gravity or... I don't know, there's a ton of things that go into it and I don't remember. But basically his problem could be he just has to get used to being here again, that's all." It had happened to him his first few trips off of Kortal, and probably to most people in the military, Saiyan or otherwise. The really strong people tended to hold out better with changes in gravity, their bodies could handle it, his not so much. If that was the problem then really the only thing one could do was wait for your body to readjust, plain and simple. Being in lighter gravity made your bones lighter, really your body as a whole, and denser gravity had the opposite effect. Renthal never really had dealt with space travel before, and certainly nothing called "space legs", but it made sense. It was akin almost to the pressure differences in the above ground cities and the below, namely at the highest and lowest points. There were definite differences between those two spots, and if you went from one to the other too quickly you could get disoriented quite a lot. That was altitude and not exactly the same thing, but in theory it sounded about the same. "So his body needs to acclimate to Kaesstra again... Interesting. I'd never have thought traveling in space would do that to you..." the doctor mused, scratching at his chin. Looking over at T'charrl thoughtfully he nodded his head, a small smile crossing his face. "I can offer some medicine to help rebuild muscle mass, unless you'd rather let yourself get used to it naturally. I should warn you it is experimental though, and the last patient I had take it ended up sick for a few days. But I'm pretty certain I've ironed out the formula." "I don't think you're fine, Viral. People who are fine just don't tackle someone, unless you suddenly got a playful streak," Yumi said, raising an eyebrow accusingly. "You can tell me what's bothering you, you know that. If you want we can even send Vegeta away while you talk." Figuring there would be a fair bit of complaints from their friend she glanced up in his direction, narrowing her eyes when he almost looked like he wanted to speak before pointing up at him. "You. Away. Now," she added, "Uh... Uh... Away." He wouldn't go far, they just needed a brief moment of privacy was all so maybe Viral would feel more comfortable. Waiting until he was a good few meters away Yumi softened up some, looking at Viral and suppressing a giggle. He had leaves and twigs all stuck in his hair, and she likely did as well. Reaching up and running her fingers through her hair she found a couple, tossing them aside. "You know I won't make fun of you, or think less of you if you tell me," Yumi said gently, reaching up and plucking a twig out of Viral's hair, "So go on, talk to me. What's on your mind?"
