Daniel cracked a smile when she said that, causing him to relax a little bit more. He made a wide, sweeping motion with his hand, showing her the whole room as he spoke now.

"These people are the [i]epitome[/i] of amazing conversation though." he said, running a hand through his hair now. "How could you not love them? And the Orderlies? Come on, they should be making you feel like you're [i]right[/i] at home, right? Like mommy and daddy are right here. Like they never abandoned us and left us alone to rot in a shitty asylum!"

He chuckled at his own joke, turning to face Yolanda now, trying not to notice that one of the creatures was slowly making it's way towards both of them.

"They really [i]do[/i] care!"
