Completely normally, he walks into a completely normal ritual circle and dies in a completely normal fashion. Lightning crashes from the sky around the circle, a black pit appearing at the center, growing ever slowly. Clawed hands appear on the side of the hole, slowly pulling themselves out inch by inch.
