As such, Tataruki is well-experienced in interrogation and torture tactics, often using her jutsu as aid.

[I][U]Body Type:[/U][/I] In overall stature, Tataruki is a petite individual with a slender and narrow body, lacking a full and curvaceous figure. This somewhat flat physique has oftentimes led her to have a more androgynous appearance, although she sometimes tries to accentuate her feminine qualities with her makeup and attire. That said, despite her thin frame, she boasts a low percentage of body-fat and an excellent degree of muscle because of her active lifestyle.

[B][U]History:[/U][/B] The only daughter to Ami & Oruori Monzaemon, both mere Shinobi trainers in the clan and members of the Kabuki branch, Tataruki was bred as one would expect. Raised to be disdainful of other clans, whom Tataruki came to recognize as lesser than and basic. Among those teachings of discrimination though, Tataruki also learned other valuable lessons in life; her parents taught her the basic ways of a kunoichi, the further philosophies of the clan, and of course, the specialty of Chakra Threads.

A member of the Kabuki branch, she wasn't taught the focus of Puppet Techniques as her Bunraku cousins but on direct the applications of Chakra Threads, and in that area, she excelled. Always quick on her feet and with a sharp mind, Tataruki's cunning mind allowed her to be quite inventive in her use of Chakra Threads, earning her the moniker of "The Thread Princess" when she was only 10 (as she got older, she found the name to childish and did her best to get other's to forget about it, although certain individuals still refer to her by the nickname). 

All-in-all, things seemed to be going well for her.

However, things started to change when she was 16 years old (about 10 years ago). At the time, Kenshin Monzaemon was rising to power, and with him, his more open-minded ideology regarding outsiders. The drastic contrast of such a higher authorities' belief versus her own shook her a bit, and for a time, she was confused and insecure, unsure what to believe. That year became the beginning of a dark time in Tataruki's life, as mental struggles and dissonances caused her to suffer, and for her work to also take a toll.

A few years later (8 years ago) passed, Tataruki was 18 years old, and things started to plateau a bit. Tataruki still suffered from the occasional bout of depression caused by an insecurity in identity, but she was gaining more willpower and stride in her steps. A sudden shift when things began to deteriorate and culminated into a will-shattering series of events.

Two other clan members, nephews to Kenshin, and acquaintances to Tataruki began to stage a coup, and ultimately it all culminated into the event that Tataruki refers to [b]'The Night of Severed Threads'[/b]. Amidst all of the fighting and rebellion, Tataruki found herself sided with the rebels, and as she was out gathering the loyalists, she stumbled upon her parents, pledging themselves as loyalists and fighting the rebels. Confused, scared and shocked, Tataruki froze. Other rebels commanded and yelled at her to act or suffer the consequences, but she remained frozen. For what seemed an eternity, Tataruki saw her parents slay their fellow kin, and then after the small band of rebels was rendered incapacitated, it left Tataruki and her parents facing one another.

Her parents made the first move, by trying to persuade Tataruki to join them, but even as they spoke, the deep ideologies of the Manzaemon fought against their words. Their honeyed-words and loving-hearts drew her in, though. She found herself in their arms, sobbing. But she wasn't sobbing for what they thought; she was sobbing in despair and regret. For despite their words, Tataruki saw the truth and forced her heart to become ignorant. While her parents remained blind to her actions, Tataruki pulled out her two kunai and killed both of her parents in merciless, cold blood.

Tears fell. Bonds were broken. But at least, the rebellion was successful.

Was it all worth it?

That question plagued Tataruki for a long time, even after she gave her parents a proper cremation, which led her to take an enlightening journey out in the desert, traveling the Land of Wind for a month.

She wasn't completely alone though, since she was required to keep in contact with the clan to some degree, as to not be considered a turncoat. For the most part though, she found herself alone and in the silence of the desert, she discovered things about herself that changed how she see saw the world and more importantly, herself.

She moved on from the despair that burdened her. She formed an identity for herself, no longer allowing herself to be in confusion and insecurity. And as she began to make her way back to the clan's territory, she found herself a close friend.

A mystical and rare fox that was known to journey the desert on occasion, Tataruki met the creature late one night, by the campfire she had going. The fox, still a youngling, was shivering in the desert frost, finding a refuge at the fire. Affected by both the majesty and innocence of the small fox, Tataruki felt it was her duty to protect the precious animal. Slowly, Tataruki attempted to gain the fox's trust throughout the night, giving it pieces of her rations, slowly inching towards it in a very non-aggressive way, and so forth. Then, after about 15 minutes, the fox did the most unexpected thing; it curled up right beside Tataruki and fell asleep.

That night, she made a companion.

Soon, her journey ended, and Tataruki was back with the clan a changed woman. By this time, she was 20 years old (7 years ago), and she was finally prepared to make changes in her life.

Focusing on the present and not dreading the past or future, Tataruki pledged her loyalty to her clan to a further degree, making herself available to the clan for various missions. And from that, she began to work up the ladder quickly because of her newly found work ethic (and the encouragement provided by Hitomo's presence). Within a matter of four years (3 years ago), she was granted the opportunity to be the Clan Enforcer, as her stern loyalty to the clan, willingness to do whatever it took (as evidenced by the murder of her loyalist parents), and exceptional skill made her a great candidate.

Now 3 years later, Tataruki spends her days doing her daily responsibilities of taking care of Hitomo, working on her skills, and of course, carrying out the duties of the Clan Enforcer.

[B][U]Personality:[/U][/B] Tataruki was always quite the individualist, even in her younger years, well not including her few years in her adolescence when she suffered her identity crisis. She was creative and ingenious, always separating herself from her peers not in academic excellence, but just in being eccentric.

A more free-spirited personality, Tataruki was always a loyal friend and clan member, albeit not the most stern. Known to be a contemplative person, she values the personal journey of a person, which is a reason why she took her own month long journey in the desert.

A devoted kunoichi, she believes that anyone in the Monzaemon can strive to improve the clan and themselves, no matter the cost, and therefore, her biggest annoyance is when she notices anyone doing subpar work intentionally. In these moments of irritation, Tataruki has been observed to be a very unsettling person. Maintaining her carefree and somewhat cheery demeanor, Tataruki's role as Clan Enforcer should never be forgotten, for behind her simple smile lies another execution or torture sessions waiting to happen. She has been known to sing songs, prattle aimlessly, and even recite poetry while assuming her duties.

[B]Description:[/B] A uncommon and slightly mystical species of fox, Hitomo has been Tataruki's companion for a number of years, even since the two found each other by mere chance, in the deserts of the Land of Wind. A fiercely loyal ally, Hitomo is known to be wary of most strangers. Still, for the most part he is like the average fox, complete with a simple, animal mentality.

The only two exceptions would be his use in some of Tataruki's jutsu and his drastically extended lifespan (averaging at about 25 years, instead of the usual 5 years). Nothing is inherently special about Hitomo though; It is through the use of Chakra Transfer via Tataruki's Chakra Threads that Hitomo can become a capable tool. When given her chakra, Hitomo is able to burst into flames without injuring itself and even assist in some collaborative jutsu, among other things.[/hider]

[B]Description:[/B] After attaching a chakra thread to her pet fox Hitomo, Tataruki can cause the animal's body to be explode into flames, becoming a literal firefox (and being the reason behind Hitomo's alias). Once Hitomo has been set on fire, the chakra thread connection is broken, and Hitomo is rendered ablaze for a period of a couple of hours (unless Hitomo voluntarily douses itself or is extinguished by someone else). In this state, Hitomo can be used for a variety of purposes, such as a light, a campfire and etc. That said, the jutsu also has offensive capabilities, since the temperature of the flames reaches a peak of 644°F, easily capable of burning flesh with prolonged contact and causing immediate burns and pain. Once the flames subside, the jutsu must be executed again for the fire to begin again.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Although Hitomo is unaffected by its own fire, other Fire Techniques can still hurt it. Plus, any Water Release jutsu of one rank lower or higher (so C-Rank+) can easily douse the flames, as the flames do not come back, unless the jutsu is reinitiated.

[B]Weakness:[/B] As both sensations and perceptions are shared, any pain or injury is felt by both parties, although the physical wound only exists on the actual victim. Cutting the Chakra Thread (or overextending it so it reaches its max range and snaps), immediately cancels the technique. Despite the benefits of the jutsu, prolonged use (roughly, 10 or more minutes) can lead to lightheadedness, disorientation, nausea and ultimately fainting (at the 20 minute mark), as the two separate perceptions become harder to deal with, even with chakra.

[B]Description:[/B] While still connected to her Chakra threads, Tataruki can focus her fire-natured chakra into her threads, causing them to heat up (and consequently provide a bit of illumination). Depending on the amount focused, the Chakra Threads' temperature may range from a 70°F (room temperature and starting temperature) to a max of 220°F (capable of permanent tissue damage and third-degree burns in less than a second). The threads heat up at a rate of 30°F/sec (max temperature is reached in 5 seconds). Considering the simple process behind the jutsu, Tataruki can execute it for an indefinite period.

[B]Weakness:[/B] The thread takes time to heat up, and can easily be cut by any chakra-cutting or tool or cooled down by a Water or Ice Release jutsu. Disabling Tataruki also works as a way to stop the technique. Once no longer being fed Tataruki's chakra (like when the jutsu is finished or cancelled), the threads instantaneously return to room temperature.

[B]Description:[/B] Tataruki can increase the durability of her chakra threads tenfold with this jutsu, which creates a maximum of two, braided chakra threads from her palms (not her fingers). These chakra threads have the elasticity of tanned leather and function just as a whip would. Tataruki's Greater Chakra Threads, called Chakra Braids, boast a sharp tip, similar to a kunai in sharpness and killing potential. Due to the greater amount of chakra in the braids, they can actually be removed from Tataruki's palms (by cutting them off with anything that can cut concentrated chakra), and used as actual rope. These braids only last for 1 hour after removal, slowly weakening due to no longer having a chakra source, before dissipating entirely.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Tataruki is limited to only one Chakra Braid in each palm (two in total), at a time. Also, Chakra Cutting techniques can easily take care of this technique, and if somehow ensnared by it, waiting until it's get weak enough to tear naturally is a viable option.

[B]Description:[/B] After conducting the necessary seals and then slamming her palms, the user's fire chakra travels under the surface and finally a cylinder of fire erupts around the target within a second (can be less, depending on the distance between the user and target). This cylinder of fire reaches a height of 10 feet and  tapers into a domed roof. As time goes on, the inside of the barrier slowly begins to heat up (starting at 85°F, increasing indefinitely at a rate of 2°F/sec). Touching the chakra-empowered flames results in intense pain (albeit no burns) and a mark appearing on the shinobi's body. Upon getting 3 marks, the barrier suddenly compresses and shrinks rapidly, consuming the trapped shinobi and turning them into ash.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Water Release jutsu of one rank lower or higher can dispel the barrier. The victim isn't inhibited in any way and certain jutsus may be able to bypass the flames (such as Shadow Imitation Techniques), although seeing beyond the bright flames may be difficult. Practically speaking, since the barrier heats up so slowly, death is up to the victim, since it's the receiving of the three marks that really seals their fate.

When under the Genjutsu, the Chakra Thread Genjutsu: Demonic World of the Fox functions as a much more difficult version of the Tsukuyomi, alike in all aspects, except much more difficult because of the chakra consumption and focus required.

[B]Weakness:[/B] If the Chakra Thread is cut, the Genjutsu ends instantly. The thread must have contact with the flesh/skin of the target and must be in the cranial area for the jutsu to work. The jutsu is rather demanding of the user, so the technique only lasts 1 minutes.
