Shu certainly found Takeshi’s way of talking to be quite strange but he would go along with it, probably because everybody else thought his way of talking was strange anyway. He just wanted to understand how the world worked and what better way to do that than to ask questions. Tilting his head at Takeshi’s answer for brain damage he found it a little strange, not quite finding how to piece the words together and how they worked well together. “Ooh? Why damage as word for hurt? Why not brain pain?” he asked curiously before Takeshi decided to enter the doctor’s office again, tilting his head at what he was saying. He thought they were already going for dinner but whatever, it was nothing new to him. T’charrl felt a little sad that Takeshi sounded as if he was going to be leaving for the ship already, hoping he didn’t take his question to spend time with his parents very literally. They had enough food for many guests all the time and he would feel lonely if his friends weren’t there. Thankfully, Takeshi soon showed himself again and announced he was coming to dinner in the end. “Oh good, I thought you were going to bail on me”, he sighed, giving a nervous smile, “I’ll be ready soon. I just want to have a little check before heading out again, okay?” He hoped Renthal could maybe give him a check for any abnormalities, turning towards him. “Uhh, Renthal…is it possible for you to check my blood? I want to keep anything you find between you and my family. Just I’ve gone through a few uhh, changes…a-and wouldn’t mind having them on file incase I get sick and your medicine doesn’t help me…” Viral didn’t like talking about himself at all and that was probably the height of it for now, but of course that would be until something else popped up. If it would make them happy then they could at least know what one of his wishes would’ve been, even if they tried to make it a positive thing that he spoke up about it. He didn’t see it as at all positive, only that he was a lot weaker for making himself seem pathetic in wanting something so trivial as a wish. It would change his life for possibly the better, plus he would be much more powerful than he ever could be as he is now. Nobody would be able sense his energy when it would be secondary to his own and he would be able to do what he could never do before; however, it was still going to be a distant memory. Hearing Vegeta talk about giving him Ki didn’t really lift his spirit, knowing it would be forcefully placed instead of given to him as a gift. It would be risky and not in his design as the Saiyans soon found out. “He did not give me Ki because…it wouldn’t work”, he spoke lowly, letting out a sigh as Yumi finally let him go, “…To give me Ki would be to extract the Ki from another being. My energy is already as artificial as Ki could be…yet it doesn’t grant me the same abilities as everyone else”. Really he didn’t know why he had been created in the way he had been, especially when the answers he got before didn’t come clear enough to him. He was told he was created as experimental life, but he had been given so much and yet was forbidden from using them unless he wanted to get cause trouble. He couldn’t use most of what he had been granted already and it frustrated him. Staring at his paws for a moment his eyes soon moved to Yumi, staring at her as she tried to make him reminisce about the past. He may had been strong then but he wasn’t strong now and couldn’t catch up no matter what they said. Growling lowly he shook his head. “To grant me the Ki Vegeta speaks of, it’ll never be the same Ki I desire. It will be artificial and experimental…something not done before…” he spoke lowly, “You would have to try hard to implant a new energy into these damaged genes. It’ll never be the Ki I want, but it would be close enough…”
