[*] Ki Control: Contrary to his usual sporadic attacks Takeshi has fine Ki control, able to perform complex maneuvers when flying and manipulate his energy for unique attacks, such as Arc Burst.
Bio: The older brother of Shu and one of the son's of Yamate, Takeshi has spent a great deal of his life doing less than favorable things. Brought up by a mercenary who he would later kill, he's mostly been on his own and as such can easily support himself. After being trained by Master Xing he killed the man to save a family he was trying to extort, but was labelled just as bad and forced away. After that, at only 10 years old, he managed to accrue enough money by stealing from the mercenaries and got himself a home. Living out alone he began to build resentment towards people, even more so than he had while with Xing. Labeling most of society like his former master he adopted a rather cynical outlook on humanity as a whole, not trusting or favoring them in the least. Ever confident in his own abilities the news of the World Martial Arts tournament reached him one day, and instantly he went and registered with the intent of winning. His world was shook a little upon finding another Saiyan in attendance, having never met another one before. Unsurprisingly he and the other boy, Shu, were the finalists, and faced off for the prize money. After both technically losing the match he tried to leave in disappointment, being hounded by the younger boy all the while. Reluctantly agreeing to let the other kid stay with him and train the boy they began to form a bond, gradually but surely. The revelation of Shu being his younger brother accelerated that bond, to the point where now he is fiercely protective of the other boy. Personality: Quick to anger, competitive yet supportive, particularly of his brother Shu. Takeshi isn’t wholly used to being around others and as such often says things out of line, whether knowingly or not. While he has a bit of an aggressive streak he has tempered his anger somewhat for the sake of those around him, and now more so than before feels guilty when he’s lost control. Growing up as one of the most powerful fighters, or the most powerful in his limited world, he believes himself to be highly capable. This translates to battles where his friends are at risk, thinking he has the strength to keep them safe. More often than not this isn’t the case, and Takeshi often feels inadequate or guilty when someone is injured in a fight. He is very determined to become stronger, more so than Viral even, to be able to sufficiently protect the others. His limited knowledge on friendship has him believing he should be standing up for them, even if they may not necessarily want him to. In most instances, Takeshi is sarcastic, takes things lightly and jokes around. He has a slight verbal tick of adding “you know,” to many of his sentences, something he picked up from his former Master. He absolutely loves fighting and training, and has something of an obsession when it comes to seafood. Though he often totes himself as being knowledgeable he lacks any real formal education, and becomes flustered easily when presented with problems that can’t be solved by brute force. He's not overly fond of large groups of people, and harbors something of a slight resentment towards humans, though this has waned gradually over the last year and a half.
