[b]Name:[/b] Known mainly as 'Meister' his true name is Richard Dogwood, an old family of 'wizards' men touched by fae magic.

[b]Personality:[/b] Not half as old or senile as people mistake him for, while no longer as powerful as he once was there is magic in his veins and it has swayed several battles to their favour before his age made him the keeper of the books and knowledge's of the Kingdoms. He loves to read and can not stand ignorance, the only thing he dislikes more is a coward. He is fiercely protective of the Prince looking on the boy as a nephew or even a son in some respects. He has and will put himself in harms way before allowing any harm to come to the boy and strongly disapproves of the way he is treated by most of the rest of the Castle. 
[b]Reputation:[/b] Old and senile he is considered nothing more than a paperweight for the books and a man to send messages should they need to be sent. Some very old rumours say that he courted a fae once upon a time but they are dismissed as hearsay and gossip. In the [b]FAE[/b] community he is known in their tongue as 'fae friend' though it lends him little favour these days there was a time where he was considered enough of to be allowed to walk into their hidden groves almost as one of them.
